Ludic:
full of fun and high spirits.
I didn't expect half of the week to go by.
I did, I just didn't expect the days to pass by as rapid as they did. But I'm entirely grateful they happened to.
The four days that swiftly went by weren't amusing in any way; just boring. After my first group session I immediately went back to cabin nine as everyone else dispersed about the Tape cabin site.
I had the option to tag along-- due to Niall's invitation, but I didn't feel comfortable with the canteen area. I turned down Niall's generous offering for the second time that day, earning an upset look from him but shrugged me off anyway. Not wanting to press the rejection I'd given him.
The following day was known as a rest day. A day off from group sessions. Niall told me that every Tuesday's, Thursday's, and weekends were dedicated to people like us. We had the option of involving ourselves in activities around the cabin site or just remaining inside of our temporary cabin. I had chose to remain inside of my cabin and Niall wasn't too happy about that.
He eventually forced to go to the canteen. On Wednesday he had concluded I must at least see what the canteen looked like so I had complied. Before group session I managed to drink bland tea and eat one saltine. I wasn't happy about that, but of course I couldn't take back what I had managed to already eat.
Niall had ate a large plate of various breakfast foods from eggs to waffles along with pancakes before our group session and unlike me, he seemed very satisfied with his food decision.
My second time at the session went just as smooth as the first time. Until Miss Siddle put together an unexpected partnership for a quick communication test.
To my fortune my partner was Bean and for the whole two hours of group session she talked my face off. I didn't mind at all though since she's very communicative and of course, friendly. In the end I got to know more about Bean.
The beginning of the week I chose to return back to myself and Niall's cabin after group session. It took long because of the protests and suggestions from Niall.
He attempted to get me to have fun, though I had not the slightest interest in exploring around Tape. All I wanted to do was be in the comfort of my temporary home within my soft linens.
That's what I did on Wednesday—snuggle in my comfortable but also temporary bed whilst Niall involved himself in activities around the Tape site, and of course a visit to the canteen.
Then Thursday appeared quicker than Wednesday had left and like the other days, I had not one thing to do. I did but I just loved the received comfort from the blue quilt that's placed upon my mattress.
The glare from the cabin window on my side of the room caused me to groan lowly before turning over on my other side as I tried to avoid the blinding brightness. It took minutes for my eyes to adjust back to the rooms atmosphere.
Once I began to close my eyes again, a thick Irish accent caused them to remain open:
"You're staying in again, Harry?"
I looked up to see Niall standing at the foot of my bed with his arms folded over his chest. I nodded simply, Niall groaned loudly.
"At least come to the canteen with me," Niall reasoned. Another attempt to persuade me to accompany him somewhere just like the past days.
"I'm tired and I'm not ready," I pouted an excuse. It was the truth though, Niall was already dressed for the day leaving me in my pyjamas from the other night.
