Defenestrate:
to throw someone or something out of a window.

The next few days were easy and brief. Niall and I spent the days rather enclosed to ourselves. Except the one time we chose to visit Liam at his cabin for a few hours. Just to make sure he's been developing after Louis's departure.

Fortunately he was alright. Not good, but also not bad since the leave. Liam still wasn't smiling or laughing constantly as he usual did, but one beam's brighter than one million frowns.

Group sessions were still a bore as they were beforehand. Wednesday, Miss Siddle partnered me with Miles and it was discomforting to the time I was paired with Eleanor.

Miles and I sat in silence–not even bothering to steal glances at one another during the mandated two hours in group cabin. And I was so fortunate when noon appeared, able to have the remainder of Wednesday to myself with Niall.

Thursday made an appearance instantly after and Niall and I chose to remain in our cabin for the full day. Taking brief trips to queue at the canteen for food whenever the both of us were famished.

Other than that, Niall and I stayed coddled into one another, sharing random discussions, stories from our youth years, and brief snog sessions.

Then Friday--

The morning began with a small quarrel between myself and Niall and it was all because of breakfast.

I happened to be far from famished whilst Niall was the complete opposite. I don't even know how that led to our disagreement, but Niall and I ended up not conversing for more than several hours.

I sat in my permanent seat towards the back of the circular table with my arms folded over my chest. Drifting off and just away from Miss Siddle's group lecture because whatever she had to say was in the least of my interest.

Then she began to pair us off again. To in which I was paired with yet another person I hardly spoken to, Kendal. We didn't speak the entire time so I just glanced at Niall.

He looked to be doing the same thing—far from interested in what Carter was telling him whilst his blue eyes scanned around the familiar room, landing on me in the process.

We locked eyes with one another for what felt like forever, the intensity set at high. It was almost like no one else was within the cabin room with us other than us. It sounded and looked overdramatic.

His gaze was very thorough that it intentionally caused me to look away from him and towards Kendal. Giving her a small amiable smile that she easily returned before the two of us were eased back into our discomforted silence.

This was going to be a long two hours.

I was sat in the canteen with Liam. He sat across from me. Nibbling on various fruits on his plate whilst I quietly chewed on a banana for lunch.

It was a little after group session and Liam asked me and Niall if we wanted to go along with him to the canteen for lunch. I easily agreed, finding no problem in accompanying him. But Niall quickly denied, leaving him to walk towards our cabin for the rest of Friday or whatever.
