Lucy bucked her seatbelt and didn't make eye contact with Angela, hoping she would forget about it.

"Lu u know how I feel about u doing that." She said calmly.

"I don't get why?"

"It's bad for you Luce, it damages your lungs."

"Once the juice i brought runs out I'll quit."

"Really?"

"Well I'll try to." Lucy promised.

"Well done, now let's go grab food for our girls night."

They arrived home, pizza in hand. They both dashed to their bedrooms and got changed into their pyjamas and then sat on the sofa. Lucy grabbed a blanket and there it other them.

"Where is everyone else?" Lucy asked

"Jacks at football then sleeping at a friend's, willow is at Wesley's mom's and Wesley is out with James."

"Ohhh it's so quiet,"

"What do you want to watch?" Angela passed Lucy the tv remote.

"How about a true crime documentary?" Lucy says excitedly.

"How could I say no." Angela laughs.

"Are u working tomorrow Ange?"

"Yeah why?"

"I thought u had the weekend off?"

"I changed it because it's mine and Wesleys anniversary the weekend after next so I would rather have then off,"

"You got anything planned?"

"Not yet, we were going to go on a little holiday but that's so much hassle,"

"Why's it hassle?" Lucy was confused.

"Wesley's mom has already said no to looking after the kids for more than one night and my mom is visiting my brother." Angela sighed

"I'll look after them Ange." Lucy could tell Angela was upset about it.

"Lucy I can't ask you to do that."

"I'm offering," Lucy smiled.

"Lu I do not want you to take this the wrong way.."

"What Angela?"

"Crap.. I don't know how to say it. You're not exactly doing the best at the moment Luce, I would just worry that you would struggle."

"I understand but I'm working on it, I've already booked a therapy appointment for tomorrow afternoon." Lucy admitted.

"You have?"

Lucy nodded. She wasn't planning on telling Angela in case things didn't go to plan but she desperately wanted to help her friend to regain the trust they once had.

They watched the rest of the documentary while eating their pizza. It was only 8pm and Lucy's eyes began to flutter shut.

"Someone's tired," Angela laughed.

"I literally didn't sleep last night."

"Oh yeah.."

"I might had to bed soon." Lucy yawned,

"Isn't it your day off tomorrow?"

"Not this week, I'm finishing just after lunch."

"Alright,"

"I'm going out in the garden before u go bed,"

"Ok."

Lucy got up and slid on her shoes to go out the backyard. She went out in the dark night sky, Lucy considered risking having a cigarette but she knew Angela would smell it so she sat on the doorstep and puffed on her vape. She was so anxious about her therapy session tomorrow but she knew it would be for the best.
