Skipping

It was now Monday morning. Lucy had no episodes all week, no arguments with Tim and hadn't smoked all week. The only thing that wasn't 100% was her appetite. Today she was going to see Bailey as she had just got back from her week at the armoury. Lucy got out of bed and changed into jeans and a white tank top. She brushed her hair and put some makeup on before going into the kitchen to get a drink so she could take her meds .

"Good morning." Lucy smiled.

"Morning Lu, u ok?" Angela asked.

"Yeah I'm so excited to see Bailey today." Lucy replied while she grabbed her water and swallowed her pills.

"It feels like she's been gone forever."

"It really does, Ange I'm scared for work tomorrow." Lucy was supposed to be starting today but decided to wait as today was Angela's day off.

"Don't worry about it, just think about today." Angela advised.

"I'll try, right I better leave,"

"Breakfast?" Angela asked

"I'm good,"

"Lucy u need to have breakfast, please."

"I'm fine Angela, I'll eat at baileys."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Lucy grabbed her things and said goodbye to Angela before getting in her car. She drove to Bailey's and pulled up outside. She walked up to the door and rang the bell.

"Hey girl!" Bailey smiled.

"Bailey!! I've missed u so much!" Lucy threw her arms around Bailey.

"I've missed u too Lu,"

Lucy followed Bailey into the living room, they sat on the sofa.

"So how was it?" Lucy asked.

"Pretty good actually, it was quite hard knowing I had left Bea."

"Bless u, it is hard leaving them."

"How's tam doing at school?"

"Really good actually, I think I'm going for dinner with her and Tim tonight actually."

"So no arguments between u and Tim then?"

"Nope, I've been put on new meds which is great."

"Aw Lu I'm happy for u."

"Thanks Bailey, I'm going back to work tomorrow."

"That's so amazing Lu."

"I'm really scared but I'm sure it will be fine."

"Are u doing a full day?"

"Yeah, grey said I can finish early if I need to."

"That's good, do u want to head out for lunch in a bit?" Bailey suggested.

"Can do, I did have a big breakfast so I won't be too hungry." Lucy lied.

"It's alright we can just get something small." Bailey smiled.

"Good idea, how did John find looking after Bea all week."

"He said it wasn't that bad, anyway I heard u were quite the saviour one of the nights."

"Oh yeah that was pretty intense." Lucy laughed.

Lucy and Bailey spent hours chatting eventually they decided it was time to go and grab food,  the pair of them put their shoes on and decided to go in baileys car. Whilst on the way there Lucy was looking out the window when she spotted a girl who looked exactly like Tamara.
