Lucy and Angela sat in the waiting room for Lucy to be called. Lucy's leg bobbed up and down with anxiety. She didn't want anything to be wrong with her but she knew how unlikely that would be considering she had been acting weird for months.
"Lucy Chen?" The doctor announced.
Lucy and Angela followed him into a room.
"So tell me about it." The doctor smiled.
Lucy looked at Angela in hopes she would talk for her, she hated the doctors and felt embarrassed.
"Lucy has been struggling with some extremely strong emotions." Angela explained to the doctor.
"Lucy could u explain what you're feeling?"
"I feel like everything I do is impulsive and I can't make decisions normally and I always feel like I'm going to explode with anger all the time or I'm just sad, I can never just feel normal you know? Like I argue with everyone for no reason and just get annoyed at everything." Lucy sighed.
The doctor nodded and looked at Angela.
"Anything you would like to add?" He asked her.
"Lucy pretty much explained it all but I would say u have noticed she is very impatient with people and just a lot." Angela tried to word it nicely so that she wouldn't upset Lucy.
"Anything else?"
"Um Lucy likes to have a strong drink to cope."
"Ok Lucy from what you have told me I'm thinking bpd which isn't awful as it we can prescribe drugs to help." The doctor smiled reassuringly.
"Ok."
Lucy didn't have much to say, she didn't want there to be something wrong with her.
"I'll give u a call in an hour or two just so I have time to talk with the rest of my team and the mental health department."
"Thank you so much," Angela smiled.
Lucy stood up and left without saying anything so Angela quickly followed. It was clear Lucy didn't want to talk so they walked down to the car in silence.
Angela was worried Lucy was about to have another episode or whatever you would call it, so she decided to try talk to her in the car to calm her down.
Lucy slumped into the passenger seat and pulled out her vape, she didn't even care what Angela thought anymore.
"Lu it's going to be ok darling." Angela felt so bad.
"I cannot be a cop with bpd, how am I supposed to do that?" Lucy was trying to keep the tears in.
"We will see what he says when he calls back and then we can talk to grey tomorrow, you will be put on medication so that will help."
"I guess, I just don't get why all of a sudden I might have some stupid disorder." Lucy was angry.
"Lu I don't know how ur feeling so Im not going to sit here and pretend I do, so how about we go get some food because it's already 6pm." Angela tried to lighten the mood.
"Alright, what we getting?"
"Taco bell?" Angela grinned knowing this was Lucy's favourite.
"Yes please." Lucy smiled slightly.

They arrived home, food in hand. Wesley had already put willow to bed and Jack was in his room like usual.
"Baby we brought food!" Angela announced as they came through the door.
Wesley grabbed the bags off her and started to dish up in the kitchen.
