Lucy had spoken to grey after calming down, and he told her to take the rest of the day to relax.

Whilst walking from the station to her car Lucy decided to call Tim's mom.

J- oh Lucy! I wondered if you would respond.
L- I'm so sorry it's taken so long, I was running late this morning and then a few things happened but I'm up for lunch if you are?
J- no worries, sure thing I'm ready whenever you get your lunch break.
L- I'm actually not working the rest of the day so I can maybe pick you up in 10 if that works?
J- that's perfect I shall see you then.

Lucy felt relieved she had spoken to joy and she didn't seem angry at her, she got into her car and puffed on her vape to calm the last of her nerves.

She drove silently to Tim's as she wasn't in the mood for music, when she arrived she saw joy already stood outside. She got into the passenger seat and reached to give Lucy a hug.

"I'm so sorry about last night," Lucy apologised.

"Don't apologise Lucy,"

"I just feel bad you had to see that, anyways where shall we go for lunch?" Lucy smiled

"There is this really nice place that Genny always takes me to when I stay, but I can't remember the name,"

"I can see if Tim knows, do u mind if we swing by mine to grab a jacket" Lucy suggested.

"Sure,"

Lucy started driving and then dialled Tim's number,

T- hey baby your on speaker with Juarez, u feeling better now?
L- yes babe I am, your on speaker with ur mom.
T- hey mom!

J- hi Tim!

L- your mom was telling me about your this restaurant Genny takes her to when she comes to visit, do u know the name?
T-oh it's like next door to the massive Costco?

Joy nodded.

L- that's the one, thank u Tim.
T- of course Lu, you guys have a great time,
L- we will, I love you
T- I love you too darling

Just as they finished their call Lucy had arrived at Angela's so she could grab a jacket.

"I'll be just one minute,"

"Ok,"

Lucy quickly ran inside and picked the first jacket she saw from her wardrobe. She also made sure she had her meds before getting back into the car.

"So this is where u live now?" Joy asked.

"Yeah, i still own the apartment but I've only been back once since everything."

"How is it living with Angela?"

"I love it so much, her and Wesley have been more than I could've ever asked for and their kids are so sweet."

"That's so nice, I can't believe u had another child,"

"It's crazy to think about, I don't really think too much about that part of my life to be honest."

Soon enough they arrived at the restaurant and were seated, the two started looking through the menu. Lucy decided to get a pizza and Joy decided on pasta.

"Lucy I really want to apologise about last night," Joy held Lucy's hand.

"Honestly it's ok, I don't blame u. I can't imagine how awful it must've been finding out about all that stuff,"

"I will say I wasn't expecting it."

They continue to chat whilst waiting for the food, just before it arrived Lucy took her pills out her bag and took them.
