First birthday

The next morning Wesley woke up and went into the kitchen, he couldn't find Angela anywhere. He decided to start breakfast, minutes later Angela came out from Lucy's room.

"Sorry baby, I didn't want to leave her." Angela yawned.

"It's alright darling, what did Tim say when he called?"

"Tamara seems better and Lucy is going to see her Sunday,"

"That's good, is he coming today?"

"For a little bit,"

"Do u think Luce will be ok today?" Wesley worried about Lucy.

"I'm hoping so, we need to leave in an hour so I'll go wake her."

Angela knocked on Lucy's door and called her name.

"Yes?" She mumbled in reply.

"You need to get ready for the party."

"Alright." Lucy swung herself out of bed, grabbed the glass of water off her nightstand and took her meds.

She quickly showered and then moved on to blow drying her hair then straightening it. She changed into a floral shirt paired with dark wash blue jeans. She then began to do her makeup when Angela knocked at the door again.

"Come in."

"U ok?" Angela perched on the end of Lucy's bed.

"I will be."

"If u want to leave early just let me know alright darling,"

"Thanks, I love ur outfit." Lucy smiled.

Angela was wearing a sage green casual dress with her hair curled.

"Thanks Lu, ur looking super cute too."

Angela left Lucy to finish getting ready.

Meanwhile Tim was struggling with Tamara.

"Tam u will only be here for an hour or two alone." Tim tried to keep his cool.

"Dad that's not fair, I want to see everyone!" Tamara pleaded.

"I don't think Beas birthday is the right place and time."

"Ur embarrassed of me? I've changed dad!"

"No Tamara, it's just not fair for everyone to be more concerned about u coming home when it's Beas birthday. And u haven't even seen ur mom yet."

"Ok whatever."

Tim finally was ready to leave, he felt bad not letting tam come but barely anyone knew she was home.

Lucy waited in the back of the car sandwiched between Jack and willow while Angela and Wesley fussed trying to lock the door.

"Ok let's go!" Angela finally got into the car.

"Finally." Jack rolled his eyes jokingly.

"Lu do u have ur meds?"

"Yep."

They arrived at the party being one of the first there. Bailey greeted them with hugs, Lucy passed Bailey the present she got for Bea.

They all went out into the garden and chatted with Grey and Luna who had just arrived. Angela hung back to speak to Bailey.

"Um Bailey,"

"Yes Ange?"

"Tamara came home last night, she's staying with Tim so he will only be able to come for an hour or two but Lucy is on edge."
