Lucy walked into Tim's room, she felt bad she hadn't seen him properly.

"Hey baby,"

"U ok Lu?"

"Yeah sorry about that, more importantly how are u?"

"Doctors said I'll make a full recovery, they want me here for a couple days to monitor."

"Thank god, I was so worried."

"Me too darling."

"Tim. What actually happened?" Lucy built up the courage to ask.

"I was just distracted baby."

"Tim you never drive down that road, especially not at night."

"I needed to clear my head before coming home."

"What was bothering you babe?"

"It doesn't matter Lu."

"Is it me?"

"Lucy I said it doesn't matter." Tim's tone more serious this time.

"Tamara we need to leave soon, u got school tomorrow."

"Mom it's literally only 5pm."

"And I need to get started on dinner, don't be difficult tonight."

"What if I am?" Tamara smiled smugly.

"I'll call cps and ur be in foster care till ur dads better."

"You're such an ass."

"Come on." Lucy stood up.

"I ain't coming."

"Tam just go and behave for your mom." Tim muttered.

"I don't want to stay with her again."

"Why tam?"

"I miss you dad."

"There's not much I can do about it tonight, just go and be good."

"Fine."

"Can u wait outside while I speak to your dad please." Lucy asked Tamara.

"Yep." She slammed the door behind her.

"Baby you're worrying me, why are you being so secretive?" Lucy perched on the end of Tim's bed.

"Because it doesn't matter."

"IT CLEARLY DOES MATTER IF YOU ALMOST DIED BECAUSE YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT IT TIM, IM SO BLOODY FED UP OF THIS CRAP." Lucy screamed before leaving the room and slamming the door just like her daughter.

"Woah what just happened?" Tamara was in shock, all the times her parents argued it was never that loud.

"Your dad's just being an idiot." Lucy wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Mom don't cry." Tamara felt awful now, she only acted up because she found it funny.

"I'm fine darling, do you want to sleep round auntie Angela's tonight?"

"With you?"

"Yeah baby."

"I suppose so, I need to make amends with her." Tamara sighed.

"I just don't want to be left alone with you, I'm not in a good place right now."

"That's fair enough, mom I'm so glad we can relate with each other."

This made Lucy giggle.

"The one thing we have in common is mental illness." Lucy joked.

"Indeed is." Tamara shrugged.
