Date

In the morning Lucy woke up before her alarm, today was the first day of taking her antidepressants. She swallowed one with some water before getting up and doing her makeup. She did it slightly nicer today, she wanted to feel more herself. Eventually she moved on to her hair which she braided into a bun so that she wouldn't have to fuss with it at work.

Lucy changed into jeans and a sweatshirt, brushed her teeth and went into the kitchen.

"Morning Ange." Lucy smiled.

"Good morning Lu, u alright?" Angela handed Lucy a pancake in hopes she would eat it.

"I think so," Lucy nibbled at the pancake.

"U take the new meds?"

"Yep."

"Good u got the other ones? We need to leave in a minute, Nyla needs a lift." Angela pulled her jacket on.

"Yep I've got everything, I'm going to get my shoes on."

Lucy laced up her sneakers and hit her vape while waiting outside for Angela. She had decided not to have her usual cig this morning.

Angela came out and they got into the car. They drove down to Nyla's house and she hopped in.

"Thank you so much." Nyla smiled.

"No worries,"

Lucy sat in the back of the car on her phone, sneakily puffing her vape every couple of minutes.

"Ur not slick Lucy." Angela laughed.

"What do u mean?" Lucy played dumb.

"Girl the whole car smells like blue raspberry." Nyla smirked.

"That's my bad,"

"You want to work with us again Luce?" Nyla asked.

"I don't know, I just need to get back out there. It's so boring." Lucy sighed.

"Just think about that goal before u do or say anything that could set you back." Angela advised.

"I'll try."

They arrived at the station, Angela and Lucy went into greys office before roll call.

"Good morning you two." Grey smiled.

"Morning." They replied as they took a seat.

"So what did u come up with last night?"

"Do u think I could work half days?"

"I think that's a good idea, when do u want to go on patrol?"

"Maybe in a week or something?"

"Sounds good, are u still seeing Dr London?"

"Yeah I'm seeing her tomorrow afternoon."

"Ok, I'll see you in roll call."

Angela and Lucy left the office, they split ways. Lucy sat down next to Celina in roll call.

"Hey girl I've missed u." Celina smiled.

"I've missed u too," Lucy smiled back.

Grey came in and started telling everyone the notices for the day.

"Chen ur with me for the morning."

"Yes sir,"

"Dismissed."

Everyone left to set up their shops, Lucy walked up to grey.

"Ok Lucy, obviously u want to get back on the street so ur going to be spending the morning with me to prove ur ready to be back to working properly."
