One night in New York, a young boy runs from a cop while holding a bag full of stolen food.
"Hey kid! Stop!" The officer yells.
The boy quickly leaps over a few trash cans then climbs over a fence, then starts running through an open door of an abandoned building. After taking a breath of relief, the boy sits down alone and starts eating the food he stole while a spider dangles above him.
"Maybe this night isn't so bad after all." The boy says
The spider then lands on his hand without him noticing. As he is about to take another bite of the food, he is bitten by the spider, causing him to wince in pain and drop the food that's in his hand. He looks at the bite on his hand and then at the food on the floor, letting out a sigh.
"Spoke too soon." He says.
Meanwhile, in the Batcave while Peter works on new webshooters, Andrea walks down with a smile on her face.
"Peter." She says.
Peter turns around and sees Andrea.
"Hey, honey. What's up?" Peter says.
Andrea doesn't answer for a moment, overwhelmed with joy.
"I'm- pregnant." She says.
Peter's eyes widen as he gets up from his chair and walks over to the love of his life.
"Seriously?" Peter asks with a smile.
"Seriously." She says with tears in her eyes.
Peter smiles and hugs Andrea. He then puts his hands on both sides of her face.
"You look so beautiful." Peter says.
Andrea smiles holding Peter's hand.
"Well, I was going to do this tomorrow night at dinner but now seems like a pretty good time as any." Peter says.
He then gets on one knee and pulls out a ring. Andrea's smile gets even bigger.
"Andrea Jane Watson. I love you."
"Yes." Andrea immediately replies.
Peter smirks.
"You didn't let me ask you." Peter says.
"Yes, baby. Yes. God, I love you."
The two share a passionate kiss and Peter puts the ring on Andrea's finger. At that moment, an alert goes off on the Batcomputer. Peter and Andrea look at the computer.
"Harry's making a move. I gotta go." Peter says.
He gives Andrea a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you, future wife." He says with a smile.
"I love you, future husband." Andrea replies.
The hero then suits up and swings out of the Batcave. While Andrea stares and smiles at her ring, Ben hands her a glass of champagne.
"I believe this is a cause of celebration, Ms. Watson." Ben says.
Andrea smiles.
"Thank you, Ben. But I can't drink this." Andrea says.
"No need to fear, it's none alcoholic."
Andrea chuckles.
"I knew even before I did, didn't you?"Andrea asks.
Ben smiles.
"I noticed that you had the same glow as Mrs. Parker had when she was pregnant with Master Peter. He's not the only detective, you know." Ben says.
