As Savi was adjusting her clothes in Almirah , savi felt an urge to ask this to Rajat. She was unsure how to pronounce but still, " Rajat, do you still love your ex-wife?"

Rajat's expression turned cold, his eyes flashing with anger. "I don't even bother to recall the person who betrayed me," he said, his voice dripping with disdain.

Savi felt a shiver run down her spine as she saw the depth of Rajat's hurt and anger. She realized that he had closed the chapter on Aashika, and that he was determined to move on with his life.

"I'm sorry," Savi said softly, feeling a pang of sympathy for Rajat.

Rajat's gaze softened slightly, his eyes meeting Savi's. "It's not your fault, Savi," he said. "You're the one who's been taking care of my children, who's been standing by me through all this."

Savi's eyes fluttered shut, exhaustion taking over. She drifted off into a restless sleep, her mind still reeling with thoughts of Rajat, Aashika, and the children.

But her sleep was short-lived. Savi's eyes snapped open, her heart racing as she sat up in bed. She was drenched in sweat, her sheets tangled around her legs.

It was just a dream, she told herself. But the image lingered, haunting her.

In her dream, Aashika had come to the house, her eyes blazing with determination. She had scooped up Sai in her arms, cradling her close as she turned to Savi with a triumphant smile.

"You'll never be her mother," Aashika had hissed, before turning and walking away, Sai crying out for Savi in her arms.

Savi's breath came in short gasps as she tried to calm herself down. It was just a dream, she repeated. But the fear lingered, refusing to be shaken.

Rajat was still awake working in his laptop, he saw Savi and gently look at her, " What happened? A bad dream?"

Savi looked at him blankly and shook her head, " Nah, I will grab some water."

Rajat then tossed his bottle to her , " I keep water with me when I work, no need to go out. Okie."

Savi smiled and gulped the water, might be the things she lost in her life, first her mother , father, then Ishaan, her baby made her feel so insecure that she got such a skill of overthinking.

After an hour , Savi's eyes again snapped open, and she sat up with a jolt, her heart racing. She was drenched in sweat, and her sheets were damp with it. She took deep, ragged breaths, trying to calm herself down.

The familiar nightmare had come again, the one where she saw Ishaan's lifeless body, his eyes frozen in a permanent stare. She had tried to save him, but she was too late. The guilt and grief washed over her like a tidal wave, threatening to drown her.

Savi threw off the covers and got out of bed, padding softly to the bathroom. She splashed water on her face, trying to wash away the lingering fear and anxiety. But the memory of the nightmare lingered, haunting her.

As she looked at herself in the mirror, Savi saw a woman with dark circles under her eyes, a woman who was struggling to keep her demons at bay. She took a deep breath and tried to shake off the feeling of unease, but it lingered, a constant reminder of the trauma she had endured.

Savi knew that this night, like many others, would be a long and sleepless one. She would have to find a way to distract herself from the memories that haunted her, to find a way to calm her racing mind. But for now, she just stood there, frozen in the darkness, unable to escape the nightmares that plagued her.

As she returned to the bed, she saw Rajat awake. He genuinely asked, " Did you get nightmares?"

Savi looked at him how to tell this. If she would share with him, it would made her felt week. She stared at her , and lied ," No, its just I felt thirsty many times in the night. "

Rajat's expression softened, his eyes filled with understanding.

As savi again laid on the bed ,she tossed here and there and then she looked at Rajat, Rajat looking her anxiously. It felt she is so anxious, and he was keen to know what was bothering her.

Savi looked at him and said, " Rajat, um......."
" What happened Savi, tell me?"

" Can I, can I hold you till I sleep. Just for this night." She said very embarassingly. And thought he would eventually reject her.

He was taken aback but he smiled and opened his arms, inviting Savi to come closer. "Of course, Savi," he said, his voice low and gentle. "You can always sleep holding me."

Savi nestled into his arms, feeling a sense of comfort and security wash over her. She wrapped her arms around Rajat's waist, holding him tightly as she rested her head on his chest.

Rajat stroked her hair, his touch soothing and calming. "Try to sleep, Savi," he whispered. "I'm here for you. I know you are hiding something from me. But I will wait for you to tell."

As Savi closed her eyes, she felt a sense of peace settle over her. For the first time in a long time, she felt like she was exactly where she was meant to be.

As Savi drifted off to sleep, she couldn't shake off the image of Ishaan's face from her mind. She felt a pang of guilt, knowing that she was holding another man, Rajat, while her heart still belonged to Ishaan.

But Savi knew that she had to be practical. She had to secure her place in Rajat's life, for Sai's sake. She couldn't let Aashika come back and take everything away from her.

With a sense of determination, Savi snuggled deeper into Rajat's arms, trying to push Ishaan's image out of her mind. She knew that she had to focus on the present, on building a life with Rajat and the children.

Early in the morning, Rajat woke up first and saw savi snuggling into him and he could see the innocent face in her and just touch her cheek lightly. He felt an urge to peck her cheek lightly and love her. But he resisted and said , " I will never let you go from my life and my children's life."

Savi's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with Rajat's gentle smile. She felt a warmth in her heart, seeing the sincerity in his eyes. For a moment, she forgot about Ishaan, forgot about her doubts and fears.

Rajat's words echoed in her mind, "I will never let you go from my life and my children's life." Savi felt a sense of security, a sense of belonging. Maybe, just maybe, she could find happiness with Rajat and the children.

Savi's gaze locked onto Rajat's, and she smiled softly. "Good morning," she whispered, her voice husky from sleep.

Rajat's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled back. "Good morning, Savi," he replied, his voice low and gentle. "Did you sleep well?"

Savi nodded, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. She slept such nice after 7 year. But she couldn't tell him this.

Savi's face flushed with embarrassment as she realized she was still clinging to Rajat. She quickly released her grip on him and stood up, trying to compose herself.

Rajat chuckled and sat up in bed, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "No need to be embarrassed, Savi," he said, his voice teasing. "I didn't mind having you close to me."

Savi's blush deepened, and she looked away, trying to hide her feelings. She wasn't sure what to make of Rajat's words, or the way she felt when he looked at her like that.

"I'll just...go get ready for the day," Savi stammered, trying to make a quick exit.
