Savi pulled away from the hug, her eyes searching Rajat's face. "I think we should head back home," Rajat said, his voice gentle. "You don't seem comfortable."

Savi's gaze lingered on his, her thoughts a jumble of emotions. She knew her past still haunted her, and she was scared of losing everything she'd built with Rajat. But she couldn't shake off the feeling of being stuck.

"Rajat, it's late. We can leave tomorrow," Savi said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rajat nodded, his expression understanding. "I'll sleep next door. Call me if you need anything."

As he turned to leave, Savi felt a pang of disappointment. She'd expected him to comfort her, to ask her what's wrong. But she knew she wasn't always the easiest person to be around.

Rajat was an human with feelings. And every time, they had the moment, they had started developing something in their relationship, she always ruin the scene. For how long he would love her if she kept behaving such bipolar.

' Rajat, ' Her words gulped in her throat and she kept quiet. She always does and felt guilty.

She came out in hall and looked at the counter in middle of it. She wandered over to the counter, her eyes drawn to the collection of whiskey, wine, and rum. Rajat had always been a drinker, she'd learned. Before their marriage, he'd often come home drunk, and she'd seen the toll it took on him. She still remember how he made a scene in front of her house. And the time when she call hum late night, that time too he wasn't sober.

Rajat must be fond of drinks, that's why he had put the whole collection of it. She never get drunk in her life but she heard people lose their resistance when they consume it and feel good.

And she want to end this constant stage of sorrow. Should she try it? But what if Rajat would get angry for touching his collection. But why would he mind? What if he wouldn't like me being drunk?

She stood on the stool to reach the height of the collection and took one of the bottle that looks like an old uncle. What next?

She reached for a bottle, her fingers tracing the label. Maybe this could help her numb the pain, just for a little while. She poured herself a glass, the liquid amber-colored in the dim light.

She looked at it and gulped her throat. Should she drink it? Yes , savi ,drink it and forget all the thoughts you are having. You need a control. A peace. Okie. Yes.

Just as she was about to drink rest of the bottle, Rajat appeared beside her. "What are you doing, Savi?" he asked, his voice firm but concerned.

Savi turned to him, the glass still in her hand. "I was just...curious," she said, her voice faltering.

Rajat's eyes narrowed. "Curious enough to finish half the bottle?"

Savi felt a flush rise to her cheeks. "I wasn't going to...I just..."

Rajat took the glass from her hand, his touch sending a shiver down her spine. "Let's get you to bed, Savi. You're not thinking clearly."

" No, Rajat I am fine."

" Did you mix something or drink it raw?"

" If we should mix it with something?" Savi questioned and Rajat clenched his eyes with the look that damage happened.

" Okay , Savi chill. Now let's come. And sleep before you get high."

Savi looked at him and said, " half bottle is still left Rajat!"

" Savi, you have had enough of this drink. Just keep this bottle down."

" But Rajat, this feeling felt so good. Your voice felt so good after having this. I want to feel more good. Please let me."

Rajat banged his head with his hand and whispered to himself , " looks like she got high!"

" Savi , you are already feeling good. If you want to feel good tomorrow ,then we have to save this bottle , right?"

Savi looked at him blinking her lashes frequently, her lips tight and then she bite her lips. Damm, those lips, Rajat felt a tug in his heart. He wanted to attack those but then Savi said, " For feeling good tomorrow, you have so many more bottles there." She point out the whole set.

Rajat clenched her eyes, this is going to be very hard. He need to be calm and patient.

Rajat smiled, and says, " Savi, don't you want to share it with me. Let me feel good too."

She looked at him and smiled, " Yes, of course. I can do this little to you." And then she forward the bottle and when he was about to take that bottle. Savi took her hands back and said, " Do you really want this or you are making my fool?"

Smart! He whispered to himself and then come closer to her. She looked at his racing feet and soon enough they were very close to each other.

And he snaked his arms into her waist and said, " Why would I lie to you?"

She felt her heart racing. And then unexpectedly she wrapped her arms around his torso and placed her head on his chest, " Because I always hurt you, Rajat."

He felt himself rigid and he closed her eyes. He had so many complaints from her for her bipolar behavior but this time wasn't good to discuss these things.

" Savi, you aren't hurting me. Should we go inside? I feel you aren't fine. "

She wasn't speaking anything. And then he looked at her face, there was her eyes that were filled with tears. What should he ask? Why was she crying.

Must be because of him. This time he felt for the sake of Sai, they choose the bad decision of marrying each other.

Savi could never move on from her past. Could never accept them.

After breaking the hug. Savi looked at him. All her resistance were gone.

She started walking inside the room but she wasn't able to walk straight. And then Rajat hold her from shoulder and said, " Let me accompany you inside. Okie."

She nodded. She wasn't talking much. But he knew she was expressing. As soon as Rajat made her sit on the bed, she held his hand, " Rajat don't go to next door please!"

He could sense the vulnerability, must be due to her fluctuating feeling.

" Why do you want me to stay when you will feel guilty the next moment we spend the time?" He said and then she looked at him. She stood up, looking in her eyes. Her eyes red and then she said, " Rajat, it's paining here."

He looked at her head when she pointed towards her heart. Rajat's face softened. "Savi, you've had too much to drink. Let's get you to bed, and we'll talk about this in the morning."

She shook her head, " Rajat it's paining inside my heart. Every time I look at you. I feel so much of love for you but...."

" But... what savi?"

" But then, my inner soul starts rebuking me for loving you."

" Savi, am I that bad that you can't  even love me!" He exclaimed.

Savi shook her head, " No Rajat. You are the best. Loving. And I am lucky to have you but..."

" But what Savi?" He made her set on bed and set beside her. Today he would listen everything. Everything what's inside her heart and soul.

" I felt guilty." She slowly said.

" Guilty for what Savi?" He looked at her with a questionable gaze.

" Ishaan died for saving me. He gave up his life for me and my baby and then I forget him over you. It felt so selfish. That over you and sai, I forget them. When Ishaan was alive he always said that people forget people when new people come. And it felt I am doing the same." There is a wave of tears falling from her eyes.
