After dinner, Savi sat down at her laptop, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she searched for the best psychiatrist in town. She had made up her mind to get help, to finally face her anxiety head-on.

As she scrolled through the search results, Savi's eyes widened at the numerous options available. She read through reviews, checked credentials, and made a mental note of a few names.

Just as she was about to close her laptop, Savi remembered that she needed to get ready for bed. She shut down her laptop and headed into the bedroom.

As she entered the room, Savi's eyes widened in surprise, and she let out a loud yelp. Rajat, caught off guard, turned around, a sheepish grin spreading across his face.

He was standing there, dripping wet, with only a towel wrapped around his waist. Savi's eyes darted away, her face flushing with embarrassment.

"Oh, sorry!" she exclaimed, quickly turning around to give him some privacy.

Rajat smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I was just getting hot, so I thought I'd take a shower at this time, Savi," he said, his voice low and husky.

Savi's face grew even hotter as she stood there, her back still turned to him. She could feel Rajat's eyes on her, sense his amusement at her embarrassment. She knew she needed to say something, to diffuse the tension, but her mind had gone blank.

Rajat's smirk faded, and he took a step closer to Savi, his bare feet making barely a sound on the floor. He stood just an inch behind her, his warm breath whispering against the back of her neck.

Savi's heart skipped a beat as she felt Rajat's presence behind her. She could sense the heat emanating from his body, smell the fresh scent of his shower gel. Her skin prickled with awareness, and she felt a shiver run down her spine.

Rajat chuckled softly, his breath tickling the back of Savi's neck. "I was just going to get dressed," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "But then I saw you standing here, and I couldn't help myself."

Savi's face grew hotter as she felt Rajat's warm breath on her skin. She tried to step forward, to put some distance between them, but Rajat's presence seemed to root her to the spot.

"Just go," Savi whispered again, her voice barely audible.

Rajat's hands gently grasped Savi's shoulders, and he turned her around to face him. Savi's eyes instinctively closed, and she felt a flutter in her chest as she sensed Rajat's proximity.

"You're mad, Rajat," Savi whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Rajat's chuckle sent a shiver down Savi's spine. "I got mad for you, Savi," he said, his voice low and husky.

Savi's eyes fluttered open, and she gazed up at Rajat, her heart racing in her chest. She saw the intensity in his eyes, the passion and concern etched on his face.

"For me?" Savi whispered, her voice barely audible.

Rajat's nod was almost imperceptible. "Yes, for you," he repeated, his eyes burning with emotion.

Rajat's hand enveloped Savi's, his fingers wrapping around hers like a warm embrace. He gently lifted her hand and placed it on his shoulder, his eyes never leaving hers.

As Savi's hand touched Rajat's shoulder, she felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. It was as if her entire being had come alive, every nerve ending tingling with awareness.

Rajat's voice was low and husky, his words sending shivers down Savi's spine. "Yes, for you, Savi," he repeated, his eyes burning with emotion. "I was imagining you everywhere I went. I almost made a fool of myself in the office."

Savi's heart skipped a beat as she gazed into Rajat's eyes. She saw the sincerity there, the depth of his feelings for her.

Savi's expression remained blank, her mind racing with thoughts. She didn't know how to process this situation, how to respond to Rajat's words. She had so much going on inside her, so much emotional baggage to deal with.

All she felt for Rajat was gratitude, respect, and care. She appreciated everything he did for her, the way he took care of her and the kids. But romance? Love? She didn't know if she was capable of feeling those emotions right now.

Rajat's eyes searched hers, seeking a response, a reaction. But Savi's face remained impassive, her heart heavy with the weight of her own emotions. She didn't know how to bridge the gap between them, how to reconcile her own feelings with Rajat's obvious affection.

Savi's mind suddenly flashed back to Isha Maa's words, spoken with such conviction and wisdom. "If you have a strong foundation with your husband, you will lose this feeling of losing everything you had."

Isha Maa's words echoed in Savi's mind, resonating deeply within her. She thought about her relationship with Rajat, about the foundation they had built together. It was strong, yes, but was it enough?

Savi's gaze drifted back to Rajat, who was still looking at her with such intensity, such longing. She felt a pang in her heart, a sense of responsibility towards him, towards their relationship.

Savi's heart skipped a beat as Rajat's arm snaked around her waist, pulling her close. His lips hovered just an inch away from hers, his warm breath caressing her skin.

"I love you, Savi," Rajat whispered, his voice low and husky.

Savi's eyes locked onto Rajat's, her mind racing with emotions. She felt a flutter in her chest, a sense of vulnerability wash over her.

For a moment, they just stood there, frozen in time, the only sound the soft hum of the air conditioner.

Then, without thinking, Savi's lips parted, and she whispered back, "I...I care for you, Rajat."

The words "But I don't love you" lingered on the tip of Savi's tongue, threatening to spill out. But she swallowed them back, her heart heavy with the weight of her own emotions.

What if she told him the truth? What if she revealed her true feelings, and Rajat's love turned to dust? What if their little family, their peaceful home, was shattered into a million pieces?

Savi's eyes searched Rajat's face, her mind racing with the consequences of her words. She saw the love there, the adoration, and her heart ached with guilt.

She couldn't do it. She couldn't tell him the truth. Not now. Maybe not ever.

Rajat's face lit up with a warm smile as he gazed at Savi. He had been expecting to hear "I love you too," but instead, Savi's words, "I care for you," hung in the air.

For a moment, Rajat's eyes searched Savi's face, looking for any sign of hesitation or uncertainty. But as he gazed into her eyes, he saw something there that gave him hope.

He saw a glimmer of affection, of tenderness, and it was enough to make him believe that someday, Savi would fall in love with him too.

Rajat's lips curved into a gentle smile as he leaned in and kissed Savi's forehead. "I'll be back after getting dressed," he whispered, his breath warm against her skin.

As Rajat pulled away, Savi felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had dodged a bullet, or so it seemed. But as she watched Rajat walk away, she couldn't shake off the feeling that she had just set something in motion, something that would change the course of their relationship forever.
