As Savi opened her eyes, she was greeted by the warm sunlight streaming through the window and the delicious aroma of freshly cooked breakfast. She sat up, feeling a bit more energized than the previous day.
Rajat was standing in front her, a tray in front of savi laden with steaming hot idlis, sambar, and chutney. He smiled as he saw her wake up, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Good morning, Savi," he said, his voice low and gentle. "I brought you some breakfast. And your medicine, of course."
Savi's heart swelled with gratitude as she looked at Rajat. He had taken such good care of her, and it felt wonderful to have someone looking out for her like this.
"Thank you, Rajat," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're always taking care of me."
Rajat's expression softened, and he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair out of her face. "That's what husbands are for, Savi," he said, his eyes locked onto hers.
Savi's heart skipped a beat at his words, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She didn't know how to respond, but she knew she felt happy and safe.
Savi's eyes sparkled with concern as she asked, "How's Sai? Is she okay?"
Rajat's expression turned gentle, and he smiled reassuringly. "Sai is fine, Savi. Maa took good care of her last night. She's still sleeping, but I'm sure she'll be up and running around soon."
Savi's face relaxed, and she let out a soft sigh of relief. "Good," she whispered, her eyes dropping to the breakfast tray. "Thank you for taking care of her, Rajat."
Rajat's eyes lingered on Savi's face, and he felt a surge of affection for her. He loved how much she cared for Sai, and how she always put others before herself.
As Savi began to eat her breakfast, Rajat sat beside her, watching her with a soft smile. His heart skipped a beat as he gazed into Savi's eyes, her spread kajal adding to her natural beauty. Her slightly tousled hair only added to her adorable appearance. He felt his chest tighten with emotion as he looked at her.
"Breakfast? Have you eaten?" Savi asked while munching her bite, her voice husky from sleep.
Rajat shook his head, snapping out of his trance. "No, I've already eaten," he replied, his voice low and gentle.
Savi nodded, her eyes never leaving his face. Rajat felt like he was drowning in their depths, his heart pounding in his chest.
" Rajat I am done!" She exclaimed after eating full two bites. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he watched Savi push the tray away, her breakfast barely touched. "You're done?" he asked, his tone gentle but slightly concerned.
Savi nodded, her eyes drooping slightly. "Yes, I'm full," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
His eyebrows shot up in surprise as he stared at Savi's barely touched breakfast. "How can you be done?" he asked, his tone incredulous. "You've barely eaten anything!"
Savi looked up at him, a sheepish expression on her face. "I'm just not hungry, I guess," she said, her voice soft.
Rajat's eyes narrowed slightly as he gazed at her. "Savi, you need to eat," he said firmly. "You're still recovering from your illness. Come on, just a few more bites?"
Rajat gently picked up a spoonful of idli and held it to Savi's lips. "Come on, Savi, just a little bit," he coaxed, his voice low and gentle.
Savi's eyes met Rajat's, and she felt a flutter in her chest. There was something so intimate about being fed by him, something that made her feel vulnerable yet safe at the same time.
