SURPRISE- NEW UPDATE
After a week of silence, tonight Savi speaks the words she was too afraid to say… but will Rajat finally listen? Or has heartbreak already sealed the distance?

The house was quieter than usual. The kind of quiet that held its breath.
Savi sat on the edge of the bed, brushing Sai’s hair as she slept beside her, her little hand curled in comfort.
It was past 11.
For the past week, Rajat would’ve been gone by now.
But tonight... he was still home.
She’d heard his voice at dinner. Felt his presence pass her in the hallway. And now, his study door had creaked open.
His footsteps slowed... toward her room.
Her breath caught. He’s here. He didn’t leave tonight.
She gently kissed Sai’s forehead, tucking her into the blanket.
Then, as if pulled by something stronger than fear, she walked toward the door.
And opened it.
Rajat stood by the dresser, his shirt half-unbuttoned, pulling out a fresh one. The warm yellow light from the side lamp threw soft shadows on his skin.
He heard the door creak.
Turned.
Savi stood there.
Still.
Watching him.
Her eyes unreadable.
He didn’t bother covering up.
Didn’t look away.
Just stood there, silently — a man carved in stone.
Savi took a breath, her voice barely above a whisper.
Savi: "Rajat… today, listen to me. Please. The words I never got to say."
He said nothing. His fingers still gripping the fabric of his half-worn shirt.
And then—
She tiptoed.
Closed the space between them.
Her arms circled him from the front.
Her face pressed gently to his bare chest.
And she just… stood there.
Silent. Surrendered.
His body stiffened.
He didn’t hug her back.
Didn’t push her away.
Didn’t pull her in.
He just stood — breathing unevenly, skin alert with memory.
All those nights she clung to him.
The warmth of her body curled into his at 2 a.m.
Her lips on his neck, whispering nothing but presence.
All those moments he thought meant love.
And now… they felt like illusions.
His heart was a battlefield.
One half reaching.
The other recoiling.
Savi could feel it. The cold in his stillness. The storm in his silence.
But she didn’t let go.
.....................................................................
The hallway was dim, the only light a soft orange glow from the night lamp near the staircase.
Aashika stood still. Hidden just enough to be unseen, yet close enough to see everything.
She watched as Savi stepped into Rajat’s room, her steps hesitant… and yet allowed.
The door didn’t slam shut.
The lights didn’t go off immediately.
There was no yelling. No rejection.
