Y/N didn't notice how quickly the day passed as she attended all her classes, diligently taking notes. She felt unusually calm-too calm, almost as if something was missing. It wasn't a feeling she was used to, but at least she had slept well with Jin by her side.

Still, something felt off. Tori had missed all the classes today. Without her, Y/N felt a little lost. She hadn't realized how much she relied on her presence until now. Tori was always there-whispering sarcastic comments, nudging her when she got too distracted, or simply making the long lectures bearable. But today, her seat was empty, and the day had felt strangely quiet.

As the evening approached, Y/N found herself in the library, flipping through pages absentmindedly while whispers of the Hollow Hunt filled the air. Students huddled together, discussing its terrifying nature, their voices tinged with both excitement and dread. The more she listened, the harder it became to focus on her book. Eventually, she gave up on reading entirely.

The distant sound of the dinner bell ringing pulled her from her thoughts. With a sigh, Y/N closed the book, placed it back on the shelf, and made her way toward the dining hall, still wondering where Tori had been all day.

Suspended above the grand dining hall, the Upór Flower stretched across the ceiling like an ethereal veil. At first glance, it was nearly invisible, blending seamlessly with the enchanted architecture. But when Y/N tilted her head just right, she could see the way its petals shimmered, shifting as if alive.

Dragons never ate alongside their riders. Instead, the Upór Flower served as their designated feeding space. Its petals would unfurl and swirl when a dragon landed, forming a shimmering platform where their meals would materialize-perfectly prepared to their liking.

Each dragon had its own particular taste, and in the beginning, feeding them had been nothing short of a nightmare.

Memories surged in Y/N's mind.

She could still recall the chaos of those early days-when the boys bonded with the dragons.turning their snouts up at improperly prepared meals, some outright refusing to eat for days. The frustration had been palpable. Taehyung had nearly lost his mind when V rejected his food for the third day in a row, and J.K. had almost stolen another dragon's meal simply because his own wasn't cold enough.

But amidst all the struggle, one thing had always worked: Ella's cooking.

No matter how finicky the dragons were, if Ella prepared their meals, they would eat without hesitation. Azriel and Olive had adored her food. The dragons loved her. The boys loved their mother and the Dragon's too.

Each dragon had its own unique preferences:

R.M. despised soggy meat-if it wasn't cooked just right, he would refuse it with a look of pure disdain.

V was the most particular. His meat had to be lightly seared, precisely seasoned, and cut into perfect bite-sized pieces. Anything less than perfection, and he would throw a fit.

J.K. preferred his food raw and chilled, as fresh as if it had just been caught.

Jhope needed his meat lightly smoked and infused with specific herbs, which Hoseok had painstakingly gathered.

Chimmy would only eat if his food was arranged neatly-Jimin had learned the hard way that simply placing food on a plate wouldn't suffice.

Suga refused to eat unless he had hunted at least part of his meal himself.

R.J. was one of the rare dragons who enjoyed sweet fruits alongside her meat, a preference that had baffled Jin at first.

Figuring out these preferences had been a long and exhausting process for the boys. But Ella had never struggled. She always knew exactly how to prepare their meals, and the dragons never hesitated when the food came from her hands.
