The students slowly made their way into the dimly lit classroom, the heavy wooden door creaking shut behind them. The walls were lined with ancient tomes and intricate magical diagrams, their ink shimmering faintly in the candlelight. At the front of the room stood a massive blackboard, its surface filled with runes and arcane symbols that seemed to shift ever so slightly when one wasn't looking. A faint scent of burning herbs lingered in the air, adding to the room’s ominous atmosphere.

Professor Sylas narrowed his sharp gaze at the latecomers, his expression unreadable but filled with quiet displeasure. His black robes billowed slightly as he turned his back to them, his tone cold and cutting.

"If you all think that making me wait was the best decision, then you are sorely mistaken."

His focus landed on Y/N and Tori. "Miss Y/N, Miss Tori." His voice was low, but the weight of it pressed down on them like a heavy spell.

Namjoon opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything, the professor lifted a hand, halting him mid-sentence.

"I was informed. Save your words." He didn’t even spare them a glance.

A sudden rush of wind stirred the classroom as the sound of powerful wings filled the air. They looked up just in time to see a massive black dragon soaring away through the high, enchanted windows. It was the one who had reported to Sylas.

"You can't hide anything from them, can you?" someone muttered under their breath.

Professor Sylas turned back to the class, his expression unreadable. "Let’s begin the Occlumency lesson."

The Fifth Attempt

The torches flickered violently, casting frantic shadows across the stone walls. The classroom air was thick—heavy with exhaustion, sweat, and the unshakable weight of failure. Y/N’s hands trembled at her sides, her breath uneven, her pulse hammering against her ribs like a caged animal.

Professor Sylas stood before her, cold and unmoved. His black eyes, sharp as obsidian, bore into hers, unyielding. He had already torn through her mind four times. And now, he would do it again.

"Legilimens."

The word slithered from his lips like a serpent's hiss. weaving through her mind.A sharp, invisible force struck, and the walls she had built cracked like brittle stone.
Her thoughts, now lay bare, the world around her twisting.in a disorienting haze.
Her breath shuddered as memories surfaced, slipping from her grasp like sand.Pain lanced through her skull, a silent scream trapped in her throat as darkness threatened to consume her.

  Inside Y/N’s Mind

A sharp, clawing sensation ripped through her skull, as if unseen hands had dug their fingers into her brain and were tearing her backward. Her vision blurred, stomach lurching—

Silence.

The classroom was gone.

She was somewhere else.

The air was sterile, heavy with the sharp bite of antiseptic. Cold tile pressed against her bare feet.

The scent of blood slithered into her nostrils.

She knew this place.

The white room. The white bed. Her white dress.

Her head pounded as she turned, her movements sluggish, like wading through tar.
