The boys stumbled into their shared room, drenched in sweat and utterly exhausted. "Exhausted" didn't even begin to cover it. For days, their dragons had pushed them beyond anything they thought possible, leading them through gruelling training sessions. Whether it was flight drills, sparring, or magic training, the intensity had been relentless.
They dropped onto their beds like rocks, glaring at their dragons, who stood at attention, eyes gleaming with satisfaction. The room, lit by flickering torches and glowing runes carved into the walls, was filled with the faint hum of magic, yet even the soothing energy couldn't ease their sore bodies.
Jungkook sprawled across his bed, was the first to speak. He wiped the sweat from his brow and propped himself up on one elbow, his voice a mixture of frustration and exasperation. "What is going on with you guys? Are you trying to kill us?"
His dragon, J.K., flapped its wings with a smug look, clearly pleased with their training progress.
Jimin, panting beside him, shook his head in disbelief. "I swear, they're treating this like we're preparing for war or something." He glared at his dragon, Chimmy, who only gave an innocent snort.
Namjoon groaned, running a hand through his sweat-drenched hair. "This is getting ridiculous. We're still learning about 'you', and now you're pushing us to the limit like we're already experts."
Hobi winced as he stretched, his sore muscles protesting. "Yeah, seriously! I can barely move. Don't you guys believe in rest days?"
His dragon, J Hope, blinked at him with a mischievous glint, clearly not sorry for the intense sessions.
Taehyung lay back on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. "It's like they're preparing us for some massive battle, and they're not telling us why." He glanced over at his dragon, who let out a low growl of agreement but offered no explanation.
Yoongi let out an exaggerated sigh as he sat up. "Suga's been like a drill sergeant lately," he muttered, glaring at the grumpy dragon at his side. Suga flicked his tail dismissively, as if to say, *You'll thank me later.*
The boys exchanged looks of frustration. Their dragons, despite their small size, had taken control of their lives in ways they hadn't anticipated
Y/N stood outside the boys' room, hesitating for a moment before softly knocking and pushing the door open. Inside, the atmosphere was calm, with the boys sprawled across their beds or resting on the floor, exhausted after a day of intense training. The dragons, however, immediately sensed her presence.
"Y/N!" Jimin said happily, his dragon chirped brightly, darting over and landing on her shoulder, nuzzling her affectionately.
Hobi's yellow dragon fluttered joyfully, circling her before landing at her feet, giving a cheerful chirp.
Jungkook's purple dragon looped playfully around her before settling beside her, scales shimmering in the soft light.
Suga hovered nearby; his usual grumpy demeanour softened as he landed gracefully by her side, giving a gentle nudge, protective but warm.
Y/N smiled, feeling the warmth of their welcome wash over her. "Hey, everyone! I missed you too!"
She walked over to Yoongi, who sat up slightly from his bed, fatigue mixed with happiness on his face. "How was your day?" he asked, voice low but curious.
