If their dragons were here, it could only mean one thing. Y/N's breath caught, the realization crashing down on her as her eyes sought them out. And there they were-all seven pieces of her heart, seated at the first table. Breathing. Living. Whole.
Her chest ached as she took them in. They were different now, older, refined-but still, in some inexplicable way, the same boys she had grown up with. The boys who had been her world.
Yoongi sat at the far end, his black hair cascading past his shoulders, framing his face like the quiet shadows of a crescent moon. She couldn't remember him ever letting his hair grow out, but now it suited him. He looked ethereal, his sharp features softened by the flicker of candlelight. He leaned back, a faint smirk playing on his lips as his dark eyes scanned the room, taking everything in with a kind of quiet amusement that only he could pull off.
Beside him, Hoseok was the opposite-a vibrant burst of energy that lit up the space. His smile was radiant, as warm and constant as the sun. He gestured animatedly, his laughter spilling out like a melody, drawing Namjoon's quiet chuckles. Namjoon sat steady and composed, his shoulders broad and his presence commanding, yet there was a softness to the way he leaned toward Hoseok, listening intently to whatever story he was telling.
Jimin and Taehyung were locked in their usual banter, voices low but tinged with that familiar teasing lilt. Jimin's eyes sparkled with mischief, his hand waving dramatically as if to emphasize a point. Taehyung responded with a slow, teasing smirk, his deep voice rumbling something that made Jimin roll his eyes. Jin, seated next to them, attempted to mediate, his hands raised in a gesture of calm, his face a mix of patience and exasperation that only deepened the fondness in his eyes.
Her heart twisted. Not everything was broken. Their bond, at least, remained unshaken. A flicker of warmth seeped through the cracks in her chest. Maybe... just maybe, things weren't entirely lost.
And then, the flicker extinguished.
The blonde girl sauntered toward their table, her movements dripping with a confidence so sharp it could cut glass. She didn't just walk-she commanded attention, each step echoing with purpose. Her golden waves shimmered in the enchanted light, cascading over her shoulders like a crown meant to remind everyone of her self-assigned royalty. Her features were striking, almost too perfect, full lips painted a glossy pink, high cheekbones that seemed carved from marble, and eyes sharp, calculating spark.
Her uniform, though standard, was anything but ordinary on her. The white blouse clung to her curves as if it had been tailored to worship her body. The top three buttons were undone, offering an audacious view of smooth, tanned skin and a hint of cleavage that was impossible to ignore. Her skirt, dangerously short, swayed with every step, threatening to reveal more with each calculated movement. Stockings hugged her legs, adding a touch of provocation that seemed entirely intentional.
The dining hall seemed to hold its breath as she approached, her heels clicking against the floor in a rhythmic pattern that demanded silence. Conversations slowed, heads turned, and whispers began to ripple through the room like a wave.
Reaching the table, she stopped, her lips curving into a sly, knowing smile that screamed trouble. Her gaze swept across the boys, lingering on each one . Her eyes were sharp, cold despite the practiced warmth of her expression, and filled with a dangerous glint that hinted at her intentions.
"Mind if I join?" she cooed, her voice smooth as silk but carrying an edge that set Y/N's teeth on edge. She didn't wait for an answer.
Leaning forward, she invaded their space with a deliberate slowness, her blouse gaping just enough to give everyone at the table-and anyone looking-a very clear view. Her chest brushed Jimin's shoulder with a forcefulness that was anything but accidental as she reached for the plate of grapes.
