Chapter 89: GET A JOB

"Provisional Hero License seminar?" I mumbled groggily as I watched the pair get ready to head off.

Candycane nods his head. "Since both me and Katsuki failed the initial exam, we have to undergo training before we can take the makeup exam." 

I hum in reply before flopping back onto the bed, ignoring Katsuki's nagging at me to get out of his room.

"Have fun then~"

Shoto seems to sigh before muttering, "we really have to catch up to them..."

"SHUT IT ALREADY!" Blasty hollers.

"AND WHY ARE YOU GETTING READY IN MY ROOM?! SCRAM!"

I flip onto my stomach and eye the bickering pair.

'why does it seem like they've gotten closer?'

As they finally headed out the door I hopped off the bed and trailed behind them.

"You should really thank the teachers." Shoto preached. "Even after your fight with Midoriya they didn't ban you from taking the exam."

"SHUT IT ALREADY!" Katsuki spun around. "AND YOU! WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING US?!"

I blink blankly before smiling.

"I'm seeing you guys off!"

He mumbles a few incoherent words before continuing down the stairs to the lobby.

"Good luck you two!" I cheer as we reach the dorm entrance, the two throw a glance back.

"Thank you." "I don't need luck."

Shoto sighs at blondie's response. "We really need to catch up to all of them..."

"SHUT UP! I SAID YOU TALK TOO MUCH!" Katsuki fumed.

"AND STAY TWO STEPS BEHIND ME!!!"

I can't help but chuckle as the two slowly disappear into the horizon.

'Well then...'

I pull out my phone and scroll through my contacts.

'Time to secure my hero internship...'

"You have an internship already Midoriya?!" I hear Ochako call from across the room.

Curiously, me and a group of a few people walk over.

"You're really incredible Midoriya!" Denki cheered.

Sero nodded in agreement, "I'll say, and with Sir Nighteye's agency too!"

"I heard senior Togata introduced you!" Kiri gushed.

"Woah, and I thought I'd be the first," I commented offhandedly, giving the broccoli a congratulatory pat on the back.

"Huh, you have an agency already Ryo?" Kirishima asks with wide eyes and I nod in response. 

"With who?" Mina chirped.

"Hawks."
