"I have also discovered that the League is currently in possession of the Shie Hassaikai's quirk erasure bullets, both the temporary and permanent ones," I read off my script.
"Thus far it appears they are unsure as to which of the two cases hold which and I have reason to assume they may use it indiscriminately find out. Though their supply is limited and thus they are likely to use it on heroes."
I flip to the last page.
"And finally, villain league member Kurogiri, known for his warp gate, was not present for the entire time I engaged with the villain league. They didn't tell me where exactly he was, just that he was on an important side mission and could not be present."
I look up at the men who filled the boardroom.
"I conclude my findings here."
A round of polite applause marked the end of my report.
Hawks gave me the thumbs up from the back corner of the room and I started over to him.
"Ryo Yamada," an old man's voice rang out.
I stopped in my tracks to address the man.
I didn't know who he was, I didn't know who any of them were, and I didn't need to know.
What I could assume was that from his relative proximity to the head of the table, he was of significant importance.
"So the villain league simply let you go?" he scoffed, smacking his hand on the table. "How do we know you're not working with them?!"
"Sir with all due respect-" "Student Ryo Yamada was addressed, not you Hawks."
The man at the head of the table cut Keigo off. All he could do was retreat with gritted teeth.
"Sir, I have no reason to work for them," I explain simply.
"As you know I have no memory of my past affiliation with them, currently my entire life has been that of a student. Everyone in UA is my family, I have no reason to compromise their safety."
"Additionally, I would like to remind you that I was ordered to infiltrate the League, I did not contact them of my own accord." I look up at the man who appears irritated but silent for now. "I hope that explanation will suffice?"
"Yes, and another question," the man at the head of the table spoke again, face shadowed by the light of the projector beaming into my eyes.
"The League thinks you are undercover for them, correct?"
I nod, "Yes sir, it's why they maintain their discretion about my interactions with them."
"What information have you been providing them with to fill such a role?"
'ah, what a shit question.'
"Nothing," I simply reply and the men in the boardroom erupt in outrage.
"You expect us to believe that?!" "Nothing, it cannot be nothing!"
It is only when the man at the head lifts a hand that silence befalls the room once more.
"Care to elaborate?" he turns the floor over to me and I nod.
"I told them that my job was assigned to me by their teacher and that all would be revealed in due time."
"Their teacher being..." "All for One, yes."
A hushed chatter descends on the room once more.
"I see," the man nods.
"With their blind faith and reverence in a man they cannot even speak to currently, they have allowed me the same faith, believing it to be the words of their teacher," I explain.
The man nods once more, seemingly content, before dismissing me with the wave of a hand.
'that's it? how anticlimactic.'
I walk over to Hawks who maintains a steady composure as we bow and exit the room.
-
It's only when we are outside that the man grabs me by my shoulders and shakes me so hard my brain hurt.
"MY POOR DOVE ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" He sobs.
'I won't be if you keep shaking me like that...'
"Yeah, yeah," I sigh swatting his hands away, "I'm fine."
He lets out a loud breath.
"I swear these government rats get more and more demanding each time..." he grumbles, throwing an arm around my shoulders and leading me out of the large office building.
"But you did great for your first time presenting to the higher ups!" he beamed at me. I could practically see him puffing his chest feathers with pride.
"Let pro-hero Hawks treat you to a nice dinner," he announces and I shrink a little, not quite finding the 13 secret herbs and spices to be the silver lining to such a stressful day.
"Then a nice big cup of bubble tea!"
'That's more like it!'
"YOU'RE THE BEST!"

With all the events of the day, by the time I reach the UA dorms it was nightfall.
"Deku! Kirishima!" I hear Ochako's voice from up ahead.
Jogging up the hill, sure enough I find the rest of the hero interns on their way back as well.
Pushing down the guilt that crept up my throat like bile, I ran up to them.
'Ugh, I shouldn't have eaten that chicken burger...'
"Kirishima! Deku! Ochako! Tsuyu!" I called out, feeling like I was taking attendance in class.
"Ryo!!!" Ochako cheered.
"Did you guys also just get back?" Midoriya smiled at us.
Tsuyu nodded, "there was a lot of paperwork to do at Ryukyu's agency."
"Its the same with us," Kirishima sighed.
"Did something big happen? It sounded like you were all involved," I smile as blankly as I can muster and the group seems to jump.
"I forgot that Ryo wasn't involved..." Midoriya muttered in a distraught tone.
"Yeah, he showed up so naturally so I just assumed..." Kirishima added on.
Tsuyu croaked, "busted."
I crack up at their downtrodden expressions.
"I'm messing with you guys, don't worry," I grin, smacking Kiri and Broccoli boy on the back.
"I know about the Shie Hassaikai raid, I just..." I try to come up with a cover, "was more of a background role."
"So don't worry, the secret is safe with me," I grin with my index finger over my lips, indicating my secrecy.
The group let out a collective sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness!" Midoriya gasped.
I chuckled, "you guys did amazing!"
"It was all Deku! He was so great you should have seen him!" Ochako gushed, causing our green-haired cinnamon roll to blush.
'I ship it.'
