"Cowards!" I didn't bother to dodge a bottle that had been hurled in my direction. It disintegrated upon impact with Will-o'-the-wisp.

We had just arrested a few jailbreakers only to exit the building they were hiding out in to less than appreciative civilians.

"This is all your fault!" they hissed towards the hero in front of me

'Seems like dislike for Endeavor is still at an all-time high, huh?'

Best Jeanist did his best to catch all of the make-shift projectiles as Hawks approached the fiery hero.

"Let's go," he said, patting the man on the arm.

I took one last glance back at the angry mob before slipping into the back seat of the car, the noise finally ceasing as we shut the doors and drove off.

Having finally been able to deactivate my disguise, I sighed, leaning into the seats.

Keeping plasma burning with your body's energy alone took a lot out of you, not to mention doing it for days in a row.

But at least no one could tell who I was.

No one except those who knew, of course.

"Really? I see..." I tune back in to Hawks on the phone.

"Yes, I understand. Please continue investigating the Paranormal Liberation Front, Edge Shot." he ordered before hanging up.

'Still nothing from the league...'

"Should we get another kilometer or two away from All Might's group?" Hawks called towards the rear seat, not at me of course, at Endeavor who beside me.

"If the press figures out that we're working with them, then even Midoriya will have stones thrown at him."

"Yeah," Endeavor agreed, "let's stagger what we're doing even more."

"We can't make Deku bear even more of a burden than he is already."

I let out a soft sigh at his words.

Whether they were out of concern, or because his pride felt damaged from having to rely on a student, I still agreed with the sentiment.

'I know he wanted to do it but... using him as bait for All for One...'

"Those guys are really laying low, aren't they?" Hawks sighed, "those jailbreakers... especially the supervillains from Tartarus, appear to be under some type of order from the League."

"It would make more sense to attack now, especially is they're up against heroes that are already frayed at the edged," Best Jeanist added.

I nod, "knowing what I know about All for One, he's probably using the time to prepare."

"It's as Deku said," Endeavor muttered, "he's prioritizing taking over Shigaraki."

"When I- when Nora revived Shigaraki," For some reason I felt the need to make the distinction, "he was incomplete."

Hawks nodded, "That was what Garaki said as well."

"I don't know how All for One plans to take over his body but it's clear that Shigaraki needs to be completed first." Hawks propped his elbow against the window of the car, gazing out.

"When he's done, his plan to take back One for All becomes possible," Endeavor continues.

Hawks' eyes narrow.
