Chapter 150: Let's split up and look for clues! (World Heroes' Mission AU)

Katsuki blasts his way through a few more of the grunts.

"Just a bunch of small fry, huh?" he spits as the last man falls.

But before he can follow after the three who went up ahead, some kind of segmented blade flies at him.

Using his explosions, he narrowly jumps out of the way.

The blades retract, drawing his eyes to a man with snake-like features and purple hair.

He had a large toothy grin on his face as he giggled.

Katsuki clicked his tongue as he landed.

"Why the hell are you villains helping Humarise?"

The man's smile stretched to unhuman proportions.

"We have been chosen by Humarise!" Just then, almost like someone had duplicated him, an identical twin slid out from behind the man.

"We will work with them and live in a new world!" the twin said in the same creepy gleeful voice as the first.

'Twins?'

The blonde spat, "so you're just trying to save your own asses?"

"Damn selfish villains!" he flew forward as the twins readied their bladed hands.

"DIE!"

He rained large explosions down on the pair, but they split in opposite directions, making it harder to hit them

'They're fast...!' he grit his teeth as he landed.

A pair of blades cut through the smoke and Katsuki narrowly blocked it with his bracers.

As he got pushed back, he wasn't able to react in time against a second pair of blades coming at him from another direction.

He cried out as the blade narrowly missed piercing through his head, instead grazing his face and ripping off his mask.

He stepped sideways, firing attacks from a distance at the pair.

But even his largest explosions were not cutting it (pun not intended but very welcome).

"Damn it...!" he hissed under his breath as he crouched in place.

'Even the explosion itself got cut?'

It seemed Ryo's quirk would have been better suited against these two, one touch of his hands would have dulled their blades into stumps.

The twins had him pincered on both sides, one of them slowly dragging a long tongue across his top set of teeth.

Katsuki snarled.

"Don't act like this is easy!"

He grabbed a few of the grenades from his belt and flew skywards, the pair soon joining him.

Or Shoto maybe, even these two would have been hard-pressed to cut through solid ice.

He launched an explosion at one of them mid-air, but he skillfully maneuvers away.

Chasing the villain down, his sight goes tunnel visioned.

Now wasn't the time, he had to handle them on his own.

'I'll get him at point blank...!'

And that's ultimately his downfall, as a pair of blades drive their way through his midsection.

Shoto carries the pair with him with an ice bridge as they speed through the facility.
