What happened afterwards was detailed in a report.

Prior to the operation, Paranormal Liberation Front leader, Re-Destro, killed the Hero Public Safety Commission's President after a botched surprise attack on the Commission's end.

Garaki Kyudai, Chairman of the Board of Jaku General Hospital was arrested for his crimes.

Gigantomachia. Captured. Air lifted from the site by two transport helicopters.

League of Villains member, Atsuhiro Sako, villain name: Mr. Compress. Captured. Unconscious from the injuries he sustained, he was transported to the hospital.

The Nomus that were incapacitated were restrained in Maidens. To be transported for autopsies.

The equipment left behind in the ruins of Jaku Hospital thought to be used by the league were retrieved and examined.

Paranormal Liberation Front leader, Re-Destro, also known as Yotsubashi Rikiya, captured.

Paranormal Liberation Front leader, Geten, captured.

Paranormal Liberation Front leader and leader of Hearts and Mind party, Koku Hanabata, captured.

Paranormal Liberation Front leader, Ryo Yamada, villain name: Nora, captured. Further decisions will be made by future Hero Public Safety Commission President with regards to identity as spy.

Paranormal Liberation Front members captured at base, 16,929.

132 members, including Paranormal Liberation Front leaders, left the villa with Gigantomachia and are currently on the run.

The searches at Paranormal Liberation Front branches around the country carried out at the same time as the operation resulted in the capture of all targeted members.

That was all the report had detailed.

What wasn't included, was the aftermath. The result of all the destruction and the suffering of the members of public who were caught up in the war as collateral.

Or the damage done to the heroes.

145 heroes in the hospital. Midnight, Majestic and many others had lost their lives.

To make matters worse, on the same day, Shigaraki and those with him attacked Tartarus, breaking All for One free, among many other villains.

In the six hours that followed, they attacked 7 more prisons, breaking out a large number of inmates.

Then, two days later, Katsuki Bakugou woke up.

"You're up!" Mineta cheers as he runs into the room, behind him a few other 1-A students.

"SHUT UP! TELL ME WHERE THE HELL I AM!" Katsuki screamed at the grape-headed boy.

Sero grinned, "Oh good, he's his usual angry self!"

"DON'T CHECK ON ME LIKE ITS NOTHING, WHERE AM I?!"

"Central Hospital," Sato says with a sigh at the blonde's attitude, "it's a hospital with the latest advancements and tech!"

"I'll go tell the nurse you're awake!" Hagakure yells before sprinting from the room.

Mineta leaps on the boy, sobbing about how worried he'd been, but the blonde shoves him aside.

"What about Shoto, Deku and... Ryo?" he bit at his lip, "And Mr. Aizawa? Endeavor? What happened?"

The mood in the room fell quickly, Sero keeping his eyes trained to the floor.

"I'll tell you, but please stay calm when you hear everything."

The less injured students were in a shared hospital room.

Mr. Aizawa had lost the leg he cut off and the right eye that Shigaraki had scratched with his hands.

Endeavor was in the middle of surgery.

And Shoto was currently bandaged up like a mummy in his own hospital room.

He stared down at his bandaged arms.

His classmates had come to see him and were doing their best to comfort him, but he could barely hear anything over his own thoughts.

'His fire was stronger than my old man's... I couldn't beat that firepower. They were strong flames of hatred.'

He though back to what his brother- no, what Dabi had said.

'He's been watching this whole time, just to make the old man fall. Destroying his own body and getting other people's lives involved...'

He let out a long breath, stretching forward.

'He's... just like me...'

Old memories of the time he existed solely to spite his father came back to him, and he gripped the bedsheets beneath him tightly.

'I was burning my own body until that day. My old man can't do it, I have to be the one to take on Toya...'

"Shoto," a gentle voice called from the door.

Fuyumi and Natsu stepped in as the 1-A students in the room greeted them.

"Todoroki's throat was burned so he still can't speak," Yaoyorozu explained.

"That's all right, we heard about Shoto's condition from the doctor earlier," Fuyumi smiled.

"You don't have to talk, Shoto," Natsu raised a hand, "and..."

He stepped aside as a woman walked in the door.

Shoto's eyes lit up.

"Let me go, damn it!" Katsuki strained against the pair that were holding him back.

"The doctor said not to move!" Sero chided.

"You'll die!" Sato added on.

"Then stop pulling me! Straining against you will make me die faster!" Katsuki hissed.

How could he stay still?

Midoriya and Ryo both showed no signs of waking up any time soon.

Deku had been injured terribly, and his body had to overcome the damage.

As for Ryo, as with all things around that boy, no one knew why he wasn't waking up.

It got to the point that Dr. Garaki had been consulted on it, the damn villain.

'As if I'd let that fucker lay his grubby hands on him again!'

Apparently everyone had gotten the news. Ryo's betrayal was a result of that Doctor's brainwashing.

Katsuki already had a bad feeling about it.

When he'd finally showed back up after months, he was had lost so much weight and looked so unwell.

He threw off the boys on his tail and barged into the first room he came across.

The first room he recognized that is.

It was an empty room, just like his.

Ryo was laying in the bed, an oxygen mask over his face and an IV hanging overhead.

He looked like he was just sleeping peacefully.

He shuffled in, taking a seat at the chair by the bed when something on the bedside table caught his eye.

'A pink cakebox...?'

The door behind him slid open and his eyes widened.

"Hawks...?"
