"This better be good, I walked out on Eri for this," I pout, picking up my phone just outside the building.

The hero interns had been called down to a small building that served as an off-shoot of the main UA building. There we met Eri once more, Aizawa just about to bring us through updates on her situation when my phone rang.

A familiar bird-brain's voice comes through the speaker.

"Just wanted to ask where you'd be tomorrow," his tone was as light as always.

"Why? So you can disturb me?" I roll my eyes with a grin.

I couldn't help it, recently I hadn't been able to see him much so I missed that doofus.

"You wish, I'm having lunch with Endeavor today after the broadcast, near the coast," I could practically hear him smiling.

'Still have no clue why he idolizes that bastard so much...'

"Oh yeah the Hero Billboard Chart is tomorrow," I recall, "I'll probably be watching it with some friends so don't embarrass me!" I tease.

"Wouldn't dream of it turtledove."

"Guess I'll be avoiding the coast then," I snicker, expecting a retort.

"You probably should," he sounded off, like he was speaking through clenched teeth. "Stay in school you trouble child."

"Yeah, yeah," I guess I should placate him, "I will."

We say our goodbyes and hang up.

-

'all that mystery almost makes me want to head to the coastline...'

-

"Ryo," Aizawa speaks as a group of them comes out from behind me.

I run up to join the group.

"As I was saying," Aizawa sighs, folding his arms, "it seems Eri's parents have abandoned her."

'damn, what happened to 'hi, hello, how are you?' '

"Her closest relative, the Shie Hassaikai's boss is still in a coma," he continued, "she has no one to depend on."

I almost feel sad for her, but another part of me felt it was better she be able to leave the Shie Hassaikai behind her, at least for now.

"By the way," Mirio speaks up, "you guys might have heard from Mr. Aizawa about the horn on Eri's head."

"The one used to activate her quirk," I pipe up.

"It's been growing," I sigh, crossing my arms, "now not even my quirk is able to reduce it by much anymore."

"So this arrangement is to prevent future incidents," Ochako mutters and I quirk a brow.

"Why? What's happening to Eri?" I ask, apparently the only one who didn't know at this point.

"Because of her quirk, we didn't surrender Eri to a children's shelter," Aizawa elaborates, "UA will be taking care of her."

"We'll let her stay at the teacher's dorm, observe her and try and find a way to control her powerful quirk."

"Oh!" I grin, "that's good."

"Good for work..." Aizawa sighs under his breath.

Looking at the bags under his eyes, I let out a tiny chuckle.
