As September drifted into October, so too did the cold weather drift in to replace the summer's heat.
They held Sir Nighteye's funeral, who had passed away after days of struggling with his injuries that he ultimately succumbed to.
It was just after that that UA and the proheroes decided to suspend the hero internships.
Today was our first day back in school for a while.
After an exhausting math lesson with Ectoplasm, we grabbed our hero suits and got ready for physical training.
Today we'd be focusing on ultimate moves once again.
Frankly I was a bit hesitant.
After all, the last time I'd been in this class I had been dragged out of UA for 'attitude adjustment'.
"I've mentioned that you'll need to have at least two ultimate moves," Cementoss spoke, "If you don't have one, keep working at it. If you already have both focus on making them stronger."
"TWO?!" I groaned, I didn't even have one.
Katsuki snickered and I smacked him in the arm, earning a glare from the blonde.
"UNBREAKABLE!!" Kirishima yelled as his skin hardened into stone, forming jagged peaks across his body.
'Woah, an ultimate form to his usual hardening quirk...'

'I guess you could say he gets really har-'
"Bakugou, Sato, Midoriya! Hit me with your full strength!" the redheaded boy demanded.
Even if he paid me I wouldn't punch that, you'd just break your hand.
As they settled their own ultimate moves, I headed off to a more secluded area of the field, but not before getting Momo to make me a standing mirror I dragged along with me.
Why a mirror?
Well the last time I'd tried out a blinding ultimate move. However, it seemed like that power was still too unstable to use reliably.
'I'll try to work on controlling my energy output.'
The principle behind the move was a quick and large expelling of energy outward, converting it into a mix of heat and light energy that would, if sudden enough, cause a flashbang-like blinding effect.
This would require a large energy source, or for me to have absorbed enough energy beforehand.
I glanced around.
"Hey Shoto!" I yell across the field at the boy who whipped his head around upon hearing his name.
"SEND A FIREBALL MY WAY!"
He looked at me, looked down at his hands and shrugged, lobbing a reasonably sized ball of fire at me.
I grabbed at it with my hands and watched as it dissolved into nothing.
A searing heat so hot I could barely stand it spread through my veins, up my arms and throughout my body.
As much as it sucked, the fire training I was made to undergo during my punishment seemed to have really paid off.
I plopped to the floor, crisscross applesauce, and focused on channeling the energy outward.
At first, it felt like absolutely nothing was happening. A peek at the mirror confirmed that.
