Chapter 191: with the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP~~~

"I found him!" 

It was an hour or two after setting off that Katsuki's voice rang out from ahead of us.

He had found Midoriya.

The poor boy had been in the middle of dealing with a horde of mind-controlled civilians created by an escaped villain who'd been using them as human meat shields.

Thankfully, a well-aimed AP shot from Blasty made short work of the villain.

Shoto runs forward, encasing the villain in ice.

"Jailbreaker secured! We did it Bakugou!" Momo called out.

"IT'S 'GREAT EXPLOSION MURDER GOD: DYNAMIGHT' TO YOU!" Katsuki hissed and I let out a bark of laughter.

'Implementing that name is going about as well as I expected...'

"Please excuse my error!" Yao-Momo apologized.

Seeing that heroes had arrived and that they'd regained control of their bodies, the civilians all ran to safety.

"Everyone..." Midoriya muttered, his voice much hoarser than I remembered, "why...?"

"Because we're worried about you," Ochako spoke for the class.

In fact I think that was the most certain the girl had ever been in her own words.

"I'm fine," Deku muttered, slowly getting to his feet and pulling his ragged mask over his head.

"So that's why... you don't have to worry..."

'Yeah right... as if anyone would believe you in that state...'

Just by looking I could tell that he was littered with injuries.

"You should get away," he warned.

Suddenly, loud clapping echoed from behind us.

It was Katsuki, an eerie grin on his face.

"Oh that's great!" his voice dripped with sarcasm, "that's just what we want from the great One for All's successor!"

"So?" he glared at Midoriya, "are you able to smile right now?"

Midoriya was deathly silent, his response barely above a whisper.

"In order to smile... for everyone to live in peace... I have to carry on." He pushed himself up, using his blackwhip to support his frail body.

"That's why..." green electricity flowed across the boy's body, the signature sign that he was powering up his quirk.

"Get out of the way, everyone!"

It was clear that he wasn't about to come back without a fight.

Katsuki lurched forward.

"Make us, you All Might wannabe!"

"Let's do this, everyone!" Iida declared, rallying the rest of the class.

"We heard that you unlocked the Fourth's and Sixth's quirks!" Katsuki taunted, "Your look's totally different now, damn Nerd!"

Deku looked over the class, face hidden behind his mask.

"Thanks for coming, everyone," he muttered simply before a thick purple smoke enveloped us.

'Smokescreen, I've seen him use this before to conceal his movements...'

"Guys! Make sure he doesn't get away!" Katsuki ordered, sending out a small explosion to the floor to blast away the smoke around him.
