"What is the name of your ex again?" Evan's randomly asked out of nowhere.

My brows snapped together. 

"What the fuck is your problem? Bakit ka nagtatanong?"

"Just answer me. Gaano ba kahirap banggitin ang pangalan ng ex mong bata?"

My eyes widened. "Gago ka ba? She's not minor, man! Hinaan mo 'yang boses mo mamaya may makarinig sa'yo."

He sighed. "Abigail Zane Sison ba?"

Nangunot ang noo ko. "What is it now, Evans?"

"Yung ex mo nasa list na pinadala sa misyon!" Miggy shouted as he ran towards us.

My brain didn't process that information. When Miggy finally stood in front of me, he handed me the file he's holding.

"Abigail Zane Sison," he laughed.

Kinuha ko ang inabot niya para bahasin iyon. Confirm, this is really Zane!

"What the heck is happening?"

"Astig gago! Kung magkabalikan kayo may jowa kang sundalo!" Miggy joked but I don't think this is funny at all.

"Ex huh? What are you gonna do about it, Bala? Are you going to save her and be her prince charming again?" Evans teases. Dalawa na sila ni Miggy ang mukang gago sa harap ko.

"Fuck. You."

Umalis ako do'n at dumiretso sa office ni Captain Javier. He's not here so I waited for him to come back.

"Zane," nagbaba ako ng tingin sa pangalan niya. "What the hell are you thinking?"

She shouldn't be there. That place is not safe for someone like her. I thought she was a teacher? I saw her! I saw her wearing a teacher uniform. What happened?

When was the last time I saw her? That was a years ago. Matagal na. That's why I don't have any idea about this. Kung mas maaga ko 'tong nalaman pipigilan ko talaga siya.

But it's too late. She's now in the middle of a fucking war.

"That brat." I murmured.

"Who's brat, Bala?"

My heart almost jumped out of my body when Captain Javier suddenly entered the room. Dumiretso siya sa swivel chair niya.

"Who's brat?" He repeated.

"You remember, Zane?"

"Yung bata mong ex?"

"What the fu– I told you she's not bata, Javier!" I hissed.

"Tangina ang high blood mo. Oh, anong meron sa ex mong iniyakan mo?"

"Parang gago naman." I glared.

"What? I'm just telling the truth here, Ferrer. Anong meron sa ex mong iniyakan mo?"

Inulit pa talaga ng gago. 

"She's a soldier now. She's actually on a mission in Ambang."

"That is fucking soulmate, Bala!" He said with a wide smile on his lips. "That's is fucking soulmate." Tumayo siya para lapitan ako.

I looked at him with my straight face. I shouldn't be here. Wala naman 'tong matinong sasabihin.

"Saang kampo siya?" He curiously ask.

"Here."

"And you didn't know she's here all this time?"

I nodded.
