I heard Terrible Things by Mayday Parade this morning and couldn't get this idea out of my head. I cried a lot while writing this but here you go.

Over and Out.

(I might make that a thing okay idk)

"Mum, do I look okay?" I looked up to see Alec leaning against the doorframe of mine and Jenna's bedroom. "You look great." I smiled and he walked over to sit by me. "What're you looking at?" I shook my head and flipped through the papers in the box on my lap. He picked up the top one and I felt my shoulders tense as his eyes scanned the page. "Is this from when you two started dating?" He looked at me. I nodded and stared into the steel blue eyes that reminded me of her. "Yeah.. I always kept them in order. I have every letter she ever wrote here in this box." I smiled and wiped at the tears forming in my eyes. "How did you two meet?" I shook my head and looked at him, "That's a long story. I'd have to tell you the whole thing up until you know.."

"We do have a decent car ride ahead of us?" He nudged my shoulder and I rolled my eyes at him, "Out of all the things you could get from her you got her curiosity." He smiled, knowing I had given in. "Hasn't she ever told you before?"

"When I was five, so she left out a lot. I'm fifteen now," He pouted as we walked to the car, his dark hair hanging over his eyes slightly, "Can't I know the whole thing?" He slid into the passenger seat and I grabbed the steering wheel firmly. "Well, at the age of fifteen all I wanted was to fall in love. Find THE one. I always assumed it would be a boy because that's all your uncle and aunts would talk about." He laughed and I smiled at him. "And?" I felt my mind start to wander back as I started to tell him the story of meeting the amazing and wonderful Jenna McDougall.

"Come on." I groaned as I fiddled in my bag for my house keys. "Are you kidding me!" I sighed and began my walk back down the street. I might as well find something to do while locked out of my house. Eventually I made it to the park. It was practically empty besides the unfamiliar blonde sitting on the swingset. She looked up at me and smiled before looking back down at her shoes. The feelings that hit me when I saw her smile were unreal. I sat next to her, "I'm Tay." I thought she was ignoring me for awhile until I saw the earbuds dangling from her ears. Smooth Taylor, I thought to myself. I tapped her on the shoulder and blushed when I was met with that grin once again, "Well, hello stranger."

"Hey.." I felt myself smile at her and she held out her hand. "I'm Jenna McDougall."

"Taylor Jardine," I shook her hand, "But most of my friends call me Tay." She nodded, "I like Taylor.. it suits you."

"And that's the moment I knew I was in love with you mother."

"You said the story would take longer than that.." He pouted, "Well, it does, but I can't give you the end without giving you the beginning now can I?" I smirked at him and he shook his head. "You know how your mom is from Australia?" He nodded, "Of course I do. We lived there for a few years," He laughed, "That's why I have a wicked cool accent that makes girls fall in love." He wiggled his eyebrows, "Alright, lady killer. Well, after awhile she had to go back since her family was only in Poughkeepsie for vacation. We exchanged numbers and Skype information. Everything. I didn't know that she liked me at first and I thought she just wanted to be friends. A few years after we met is when we both formed our bands."

"Tonight Alive and We Are The In Crowd, right?" I nodded and smiled. "Speaking of which, can I do merch on your next tour?"

"We'll talk about it later. Do you want to hear the story or not?" I raised an eyebrow at him and he held his hands up in defence. "Well, since we were both in bands we didn't get to skype as much with tours and recordings, but one day she asked if we could talk about something."
