I stood at the kitchen counter and sighed, filling my fourth cup of coffee. I could hear her taking her suitcases outside and throwing them into the car before walking up the stairs and doing it all over again. Finally, I felt her arms wrap around my waist as she kissed my shoulder. "You're gonna be shaky from all that coffee." She whispered, her voice filled with sadness. "I'm always shaky." I say in the same whisper. You would think this would be easy after you do it over and over since right after the first year of your relationship, but watching the one you love leave over and over again since you were 13, well, it breaks you a bit more each time. I love seeing the pictures though, watching her smile up on those stages and living her dream. Her happiness is my priority and her music is her happiness. Well, part of it, as she's said before in countless interviews, "The music makes me happy, but my happiness isn't complete without (Y/N)." And she'd flash the camera that goofy grin that showed the slight gap between her front teeth. I turned in her arms and smiled at her, trying to hide the sadness. "We need to head to the airport. You can't miss your plane.."

"We've got time.." She whispered, hugging me close to her. I buried my face in her neck, not being able to stop the tears falling from my eyes. "It makes me crumble completely when you cry.." She whispers in my ear. I pulled back and put my hands on her cheeks, leaning into to place a soft kiss on her lips. She rested her forehead against mine and I saw the tears forming in her eyes too, "This never gets easier, but at least now I know I get to come home straight to you. Whether it's a seven hour flight or a forty-five minute drive." She kissed me once more before lacing our fingers together and leading me out of the house. I grabbed my keys and we got into the car. I gripped the steering wheel until my knuckles were white the entire way to the airport. She leaned her head against the window, singing softly. I would occasionally glance over at her and smile, who knew we'd get this far? I helped her grab her bags and carry them into the airport where we found Taylor waiting on us. "Hey, T." He smiled at me and pulled me close for a hug. "Hey, (Y/N)." We chatted for awhile as Hayley wrapped her arm around my waist. "We gotta go.." Taylor smiled sadly at me, "I'll take care of her for you." I nodded and she pulled me close, hugging me tightly. I felt the tears come back and gripped her shirt tightly. She tilted my chin up to her and kissed me softly, "I love you.." She rested her forehead against mine, staring deeply into my eyes. "I love you too, Hayls." I brushed my nose against hers and pecked her lips one more time. They walked through security and she glanced once more at me, her eyes wet with tears, as I felt my own pour down my face. I wiped at them with my hoodie sleeves and made my way back to my car. I put a Paramore CD into my stereo for the ride home just so I could hear her voice.

As soon as I got up that morning I checked the calendar, "Hayley comes home in month or so..." I nodded and went to the kitchen to make some tea. My phone rang and I picked it up quickly, "Hey.." I said quietly. "Hey!" My best friend practically screamed in my ear, "Calm down. It's like.. Noon. Too early for screaming." I groaned. "You hardly get out of bed when Hayley's gone.." She whispered quietly. I paused for a moment before sighing, "Yeah.. I'm just not in a good mood, yanno?"

"I get that. Maybe you should get out of the house today. Put on something nice and meet me at your spot."

"My spot at the park? Why don't you just meet me here? It's so much closer.."

"No no no. Your spot. Hurry up." I heard the click of the phone and stared at the screen with confusion. I drank a bit of my tea and walked to my room, picking out a quick outfit to wear. Nothing too extreme, a paramore tank to, a flannel wrapped around my waist, vans on my feet, and a beanie. The usual. I looked in the mirror and wished longingly that Hayley would swoop in and wrap her arms around me like she usually did when I got ready in the morning. I wrapped my own arms around my waist and closed my eyes before opening them again. "Keys or board.." I hummed quietly to myself. "Board." I smiled and picked up a skateboard before shoving my keys in my pocket. I skated down to the park, enjoying the ride, before I stopped at "my spot". This spot wasn't anything much, just a bench that overlooked the ocean, but I liked to come here and think even from a young age. I sat at the bench and leaned forward, my hands clasped between my thighs. Someone came up behind me and put their hands over my eyes. "What are you do-" When I turned around I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. Tears streamed down my face as a smile broke out onto my lips. I walked around the bench and hugged her tightly, burying my face into her shoulder, "I missed you so much.." I cried. I felt my shirt become damp as she was crying as well, but I could almost hear the smile in her voice. "I missed you too, but I'm back now. Right where I belong." I looked into her eyes, taking the moment in, and watched as she looked at me with that same sparkle in her eyes she had when we were twelve and on our first date. She brushed the hair out of my eyes and placed a kiss to my forehead. I wrapped my arms around her neck and kissed her gently, not ever wanting to let her go.
