It was time to go to camp. I stood in a group with the rest of the class as Mr. Aizawa talked to us about it one last time. It was nothing he hadn't said before. When he was done, the class turned to each other and started talking about it.

"I'm so excited, I can't believe we get to go!" Mina shouted.

"I know, it's going to be awesome," Kaminari joined in.

I stood watching them, smiling. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad. They were both so happy. And Sero and Sato too. And Kirishima. They were so excited to get to go to camp anyways. I guess I was a little excited too. It was gonna be fun.

"Did you ever get those extra things you needed?" Jiro asked.

I turned to her, smiling a little. "Yeah I did. I went later once the mall opened again. Did you get your bag?"

"I did," she pointed over to it amongst the rest of class 1-A's luggage.

"It's a shame to be in the store and not be able to get it."

"I know, I had just seen a few I wanted and was starting to narrow them down with Sero and Momo." Jiro shrugged. "It worked out in the end though. Plus, I'd rather not be in the mall if there had been a real villain attack."

"Did I hear that some of class 1-A is taking summer classes?" an obnoxious voice called.

I turned to see Monoma laughing at the class. The rest of class 1-B was right behind him.

"Does that mean that some of you actually failed the final exams?" Monoma continued. "Class 1-A failed? And they're supposed to be so much better than us. I guess you're not so-"

Kendo knocked him out.

"Sorry about that, everyone," she said, holding Monoma up by the collar of his shirt. "We're not at the sports festival anymore, so I guess we're not enemies now." She dragged Monoma over to their bus and up the steps. She was nice.

"Class 1-A," Ida announced. "Our bus is here. Everyone line up in seating order." He was so uptight sometimes.

I sat in the back with Tsu and Uraraka. The bus was a little crazy. No one really seemed able to sit still or listen, and most of them were excitedly staring out the window the whole time. I couldn't blame them; the views were gorgeous.

"Listen up, everybody," Mr. Aizawa said from the front of the bus. "We're going to have about an hour's drive before our first stop."

He couldn't even get through that sentence before people were distracted again. Kaminari called for music. Ida got on somebody at the front of the bus for something.

"I'm most looking forward to swimming," Tsu said. "There's supposed to be beautiful mountain lakes up here."

"I'm excited for the camp food," Uraraka said. "Hot dogs and burgers are perfect when you've been training all day in the mountains. What about you, L/n?"

I didn't have anything I was particularly excited about. Maybe hanging out with people? That could be a part of anything though. "I think just everything," I answered. "I'm excited to be up here with everyone."

"I know," Uraraka said. "Me too!"

"It's getting a little hot in here," Sero said in front of them. "I'm opening a window." He reached over and pulled the window up.

"Do not open that window," Ida said from the front of the bus.

Sero ignored him.

An hour later, the bus pulled over on the side of the road and everybody filed off. Almost everyone stretched. It had been cramped with everyone on the bus. They were on a wide dirt area on the edge of a mountain. There was another car there but nothing else.
