Best Friends (A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter One

EMILY'S POV

I was getting ready for school, Joe was going to walk with me. He is the first true friend that I've had, I didn't think that I was ever going to find a friend but now I have and he is awesome. I'm not a girly girl, I'm your sort of t-shirt wearing, skinny jeans and messy bun sort of a girl. I loved playing video games and I always won at Fifa. Joe was your cheeky sort of teenager who was a big old flirt! All the girls seemed to love him don't get me wrong he is attractive but he's like a brother to me and I couldn't imagine ever going out with someone who I refer to as a brother. Ew! I had just finished putting my hair up when my dad called me from downstairs 'Emily, Joe's here!' I walked down the stairs and pulled Joe into a headlock and messed up his hair, we always seemed to goof around and it was great. Joe got out of the headlock and chased me down the drive, he never seemed to be able to catch me however because I was a fast runner. 'Hey, it's sports day soon why don't you sign your name up for the 1000m?' Joe asked. I shook my head saying yes. We started the walk to school and met up with the lads. The bell went and me and Joe went off to form it was great to be in most lessons and in form with your best friend.

We were sat in form talking about last nights rugby game, England vs Australia, of course England won. We were joking around when a girl walked over. 'Be a gem would you Emily and go and sit over there' she was what everyone considered to be one of the pretty girls, she basically looked like Barbie. Blonde hair, blue eyes and a perfect complexion. 'Did you not hear what I just said? Move!' she said with a little bit more of a shout in her voice. Oh yes, I forgot to mention she was mean. I looked over at Joe from the other seat and he mouthed to me, 'Help!' I made a laughing gesture and he mouthed, 'I'm sorry'. She was all over him trying to flirt with him but he wasn't interested and he tried to talk to me the entire time. The bell rang for the end of class and thank god she wasn't in any of our classes I sat back down next to Joe and we were laughing about the girl and how desperate she acted. 'Oh god I thought she was going to kiss you at one point' I laughed.

'I know yeah! Jesus!' He said. First lesson finally started, it was biology and we were dissecting a pig's heart. I picked it up and pushed it into Joe's face, 'Ew! Get it away from me!' he said disgusted and I was in stitches. I put it down and he made a fake 'phew'. We were just being us even though we got several dirty looks neither of us cared. 'Fancy coming round mine after school we can play Fifa?' Joe asked and I nodded. 'Its roast dinner day too!' Joe said enthusiastically. I laughed. The end of the day came and we met up with Zoe to walk to their house. 'Hey Zoe!' I shouted.

'Hello Emily' she replied. Zoe didn't really like me but I wasn't too sure why, maybe because she hung around with that girl from form? Maybe she said things about me, oh well. Me and Joe spoke the entire walk about who would beat the other one at Fifa. We arrived at the Sugg household, 'Hello Dad!' Joe said

'Hello Graham' I said and Graham said hello to us both. We went up to Joe's room first and played Pokemon for a while because he had loads of cards. I won and Joe hated losing so he tickled me, this resulted in a play fight. 'Dinner everyone!' Graham shouted and we all walked down the stairs and sat down to eat. I couldn't agree more when Joe said that his dad cooked the best roasts ever. I thanked Graham and me and Joe went to play Fifa, 'I'm being Real Madrid' I shouted because it was always an argument over who was Real Madrid, 'fine, I'll be Barcelona!' Joe said sulkily. 10 minutes into the game and I was already winning 1-0, Joe tried his hardest to score but he failed. By half time I was winning 3-1, just to clarify he scored one because he messed up my hair so that I couldn't see. He was such a cheat. 'Come on suggy!' he shouted causing me to laugh. I won 4-1 and Joe did a fake sad face. 'Remember how we agreed that loser would dye their hair blonde well...' I winked. Joe was up for any challenge. I got the hair dye from the bathroom and started to dye his hair, 'I swear to God if it turns out orange I will kill you!' he shouted making me laugh. When he washed it off and dried it it didn't look that bad in fact it made him look hotter.

After that we watched 21 Jump Street until 8:30, 'gosh look at the time!' I said.

'I will walk you home' Joe offered he put on his shoes and walked me home, I only lived around the corner so it didn't take long. 'Thanks for today. And thanks for the hair!' he joked and then he left. I walked in and had a long lecture from my parents about how it was a school night and how I came back late. They told me to go straight to bed and that I wasn't allowed to go out with Joe for a week. I was grounded. Luckily they hadn't taken my phone off me because they forgot so I messaged Joe.

Emily: Guess who's grounded?

Joe: I'm so sorry, guess I won't be able to walk with you to school now?

Emily: Wait for me at the woods and I will meet you there at 8?

Joe: Ok, night! :)

Emily: Night Joe! :)
