Best Friends (A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter Thirty-Seven

(A few months later)

EMILY'S POV

I had started getting back to my usual self again and now I was a size 8 which was great because it meant that I was healthy again. Me, Joe and all the other YouTubers were heading to Dubai today during vlogmas and I was so excited. I was still doing my YouTube videos and had vlogged everyday of vlogmas so far. I woke up at half 6 in the morning and put my hair up in a messy ponytail, despite only having 5 hours sleep I was full of energy. I got dressed into some comfy clothes and gave Poppy to an old friend before setting off for the airport in a taxi. I was going to be meeting the rest of the gang when I got to the airport including Joe and I was very excited! We have been dating for 4 months now and it was brilliant because nothing was going wrong.

I spotted Joe trying to hide from me so I played along with his little game and decided to walk around so that I could scare him from behind. I walked out of his view and walked around to the back of him where I heard him saying to his camera, 'guys I think shes confused as to where we are' he was laughing and I continued to sneak up on him before making a weird noise with my mouth causing him to jump a lot, 'OMG! You're just too good!' he complained laughing to his camera before switching it off and grabbing me into a hug. 

I said hello to the rest of them and we boarded the flight, I was sat next to Joe so we watched movies the whole flight including the Spongebob Movie which was clearly Joe's choice. I put my head on his shoulder and watched the movies loving every moment spent with him. After a long flight we had landed in Dubai and headed in a taxi to the hotel I was sharing a room with Joe and our room was amazing. It had a sea view with a lovely modern bathroom and super comfy bed. I jumped on the bed while Joe examined the room while vlogging, 'bum washer!' I heard him shout from the bathroom which made me laugh. 

He walked out of the bathroom and stopped vlogging, I was still lying on the bed and motioned for him to join me which he did. He started to kiss my neck softly and I was blown away by how much a loved him. I slowly took off his top and he did the same and we enjoyed our first day in Dubai. The next day Joe was filming for Daily Mix along with Jim, Alfie and Marcus so it was just us girls today. I met up with the girls and we went to a cute little restaurant, we shared cute little stories and I got to know them better. Tanya was talking about her honeymoon because we hadn't really spoken much since the wedding and I was talking about Joe and me.

Zoe showed me an old video of hers where Joe shoved his head in front of the camera at the very end and it made me laugh I remembered this Joe so well. Especially when he dyed his hair peroxide blonde if I'm honest I thought that he looked really hot with his hair blonde and I think that he looks amazing with brown hair so either way he was beautiful to me. Zoe and I spoke about old memories we had of Joe and us when we were teenagers and it brought a smile to my face. We were speaking all night and I finally left Zoe and the girls so that I could have a mini pamper session to myself before bed. Joe was still out with the boys so it was the perfect time to relax.

I was lying in my bubble bath when I heard Joe walk through the door I heard him walk towards the bed so I was still able to relax or so I thought. This hotel had glass where the bath was so anyone that was on the bed could see you having a bath which I didn't realize until I saw Joe starring at me then laughing. I laughed back then got out of the bath, 'very sexy Miss Brown' he laughed to himself so I playfully pushed him causing him to laugh even more. I was so embarrassed. I was about to get my pajamas on when Joe stopped me, 'we are going out for dinner tonight so get a nice dress on' I put the pajamas away then started to look for something to wear. I didn't know what to put on, 'how about this one?' Joe asked as he pulled out a gift bag and presented me with the most beautiful black and gold dress ever. I ran over to him and kissed him to thank him. 

'Can you zip me up?' I asked winking at him, the zip needed zipping from just above my bum to the back of my neck. He zipped up the dress then pulled out a box from his pocket, 'what would an outfit be without a lovely necklace?' he said handing me the box. I opened the box revealing a little locket in the shape of a love heart, 'open it' he smiled and I did, inside was a picture of Joe holding Oscar. I had tears in my eyes because of how lovely it was, 'this way you can have both of us with you always' he said hugging me. I kissed him again then put on some makeup. We headed out of the hotel and to a beautiful restaurant on the sea front. It was the most romantic spot ever, we headed inside where it was candle lit with roses in vases on each table.

'Joe it's beautiful' I said as I held his hand.

'I'm glad you like it' he smiled as he pulled out my chair for me. 'I love you Emily' he said still smiling.

'I love you too' I replied smiling back. I order a lasagna with a diet coke and Joe order a chicken dish with a beer. We had a lovely meal and Joe kept making me laugh. 'Joe I love you so much!' I said to him smiling even more. 'I love you too and that is why I'm about to do this' he smiled before getting up from his chair and getting down on one knee, 'Emily you were my first love and I want you to be my last so please will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?' tears came to my eyes this was perfect, 'of course I will Joe' I said still crying tears of happiness. He slid the ring on my finger and it was the most beautiful ring ever.

We walked hand in hand back to the hotel and when we got in the hotel he picked me up bridal style and walked me to the hotel room. He placed me on the bed and was above me, I started to undo his shirt buttons quite roughly and kissed his neck and he unzipped my dress, lets just say we didn't sleep.
