Chapter Eleven

JOE'S POV

No, she wouldn't cheat on me, shes not like that. Surely she wouldn't. But then again why had she never mentioned this man before not once. I didn't want to jump to conclusions though so I was trying to calm myself down. Shortly afterwards Emily came through the door, 'so a man came asking about his wallet..' she looked away which made me more nervous, 'Emily?... Who is he?' I asked scared for the response. 'My old pen pal, don't worry...I lo.. You're my guy!' she said instantly was she going to tell me that she loved me because I would have told her the same. I did love her more than anything else she was my rock and I wanted to show her but I didn't know how.. I'm not the romantic type. I walked up to her and kissed her she returned the kiss and it became more passionate I slowly took off her top and she took of mine, the next moment I picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. All that I'm going to say is we didn't sleep...

The next morning I woke up and saw Emily asleep next to me she was so perfect. I remembered last night and a big smile came to my face. I showed her that I loved her and it felt right, it felt amazing. Before I could think about anything else, my phone started to ring it was Zoe. 'Hello sis?' I said a little confused. 'Joe... It's Alfie... We had a fight and-' she started to cry, Emily woke up and took the phone away from me knowing that I wasn't very good at dealing with feelings. 'Zoe?' Emily said softly, 'it's Emily, here's what I'm going to do alright? I am going to get dressed and pick you up bring over some clothes and you can stay at my house for a while. See you soon okay?' Just like that Emily hung up and quickly got dressed. 'Joe, get sorted we're going on a road trip.' I got up and had a really fast shower then got into a t-shirt and my grey sweatpants/jogging bottoms. We couldn't leave Poppy in the house alone so we put her in her carry case and in the car.

Emily got in her car and started to drive I was sitting in the back with Poppy, let me just say that girl is amazing she was so prepared for a long journey she had water and food in her car and it was so clean. 'I have a portable DVD player in the back if you want to watch a movie' she said sweetly.

'No, I would prefer to talk to my girl' I replied cheekily and she laughed.

'Well what does Joe Sugg want to know?'

'Your favourite colour?'

'Light blue'

'and your favourite animal?'

'A panda' I gave her an angry look, 'I mean a penguin' she laughed and I was wetting myself. We carried on laughing and joking until we got into Brighton and it was so nice to just be laughing with someone that you loved. We got there and Zoe was stood outside crying she walked towards the car and I put her stuff in the boot as Zoe got in the car. 'It's alright Zoe, we can talk about it when you're ready okay?' I heard Emily say softly which was adorable then we drove back to London. This time we were sat in the car in silence just hearing Zoe's muffled, soft crying. Once we arrived back at Emily's I was asked to make a drink of tea for Emily and Zoe so I nodded and went to make the tea allowing the girls to talk.

EMILY'S POV

I asked Joe to make a drink so that me and Zoe could have a girly chat, 'Zoe? What happened?' I asked her softly so she felt like she had a friend to talk to. 'He told me he was recording with a girl doing a collab' she stopped crying for a moment and then she continued talking, 'well, when I walked in to see if they were finished, they were kissing. I asked what was going on and Alfie said that it was a dare but why would he do that dare knowing he had me?' she started to cry and I didn't know what to say to her. 'Well maybe you just need to let it blow over and talk about it after?' I replied trying to give her advice she nodded and gave me a massive hug. 'You know, I'm so glad that we're friends Emily' I hugged her back and Joe walked in with the drinks. No one knew about me and Joe which was good in some ways but I really wanted to tell someone. Joe sat down and I stood up and walked to the bathroom a little upset. I really wanted to tell people that me and Joe were an item but it felt like he was ashamed of me and didn't want to tell anyone. I would be ashamed of me too, I mean look at me, I have to take tablets all the time so I won't get paranoid but they didn't seem to be working.. I kept having nightmares about Dylan and now I couldn't do sports for a while because I didn't have time which was causing me to become unfit and get fatter. I started to faintly cry when I heard a knock at the door. 'Emily?' I recognized that soft voice anywhere, it was Joe.

'Yea, I will be out in a minute' I said wiping my eyes.

'Are you alright? You sound upset' he said concern in his voice.

'I'm fine it's nothing' I hadn't told him about the pills yet and I didn't want to ever tell him. I walked out of the bathroom after my eyes had stopped being so red and joined the two in the living room. Zoe was now talking like normal to Joe about YouTube and filming together so I went to put on some dinner. I couldn't get involved in their YouTube conversations which upset me a little but it didn't matter. I made a pizza and put it in for dinner, I got out a wine glass and poured some into my glass, I shouldn't be drinking alcohol but one won't hurt surely. I sipped the wine and suddenly felt light headed. Then everything went black.

JOE'S POV

Me and Zoe had just finished talking about filming a collab when we heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen. I ran in to see Emily on the floor having a fit, 'Zoe! Call an ambulance' I shouted, I couldn't snap her out of these seizures. I looked around to see glass shattered everywhere along with blood, I couldn't see if Emily had cut herself but I was sure that she had. When the ambulance finally arrived I told them about the glass and Zoe went with her to the hospital because I said that I would clean up the mess. I started to sweep up the mess and was wondering why this had happened when I saw the alcohol on the side. Maybe this caused it, then I spotted a bottle full of pills all over the floor, I looked at the bottle and saw in bold that it said 'No alcohol to be consumed with drugs or after taking the drug'. 

After I had cleaned the glass I got in a taxi and went to the hospital. 'Zoe?' I said seeing her in the waiting room. 'Joe!' she shouting hugging me.

'Is she alright?' I asked seriously.

'She's awake and is allowed visitors, I was waiting for you to get here before I went in' Zoe stood up and we walked in her room together. 'Hello' She said weakly and out of energy. I looked at her and despite her being drained she still remained perfect to me, 'are you alright?' I asked walking over to her so I could see her clearly. 'I'm fine just a few cuts and bruises' she said smiling, 'the doctor said that I should have a nap here then I can head home tomorrow' I nodded and sat down allowing her to sleep. Once she had fallen asleep I told Zoe to come back to Emily's so that we could rest ourselves.

The next day I woke up really early and gave the place a quick tidy up, I then went to the hospital in Emily's car and picked her up. We got home and she immediately insisted that she would make a drink, I tried to argue with her and tell her that she needed rest but she was adamant that she would make a drink. I walked up to her and kissed her on the forehead 'I've been waiting to do that, sorry I haven't been able to but it's just best not to right now' I said.

'It's alright' she said and then quickly pulled away as Zoe walked through the doors, 'you need to rest!' Zoe said to her sternly. Emily ignored her and continued to make a drink, she hated people doing things for her. I couldn't help but keep looking at her I was so scared that she would be ill again she must have noticed because she said to me, 'I'm fine! Honestly' I looked away quickly.
