Chapter Thirty-Eight

EMILY'S POV

I woke up the next day and felt absolutely horrific, Joe woke up shortly after me and asked if I wanted to get breakfast with him and the others but I said no because I wasn't feeling good. Joe went to get breakfast and I slipped on some clothes and put my hair in a ponytail because all that I wanted to do was relax. I was lying across the bed and kept having a sickly feeling in my stomach which is strange because I hadn't eaten anything to give me food poisoning. I started to wonder what it could be and then I thought that I could be pregnant. Of course I wasn't sure that I was because after the crash the doctor said that I have very small chance of having children but you never know.

I walked out of the hotel room and down to the lobby where I looked out for Joe just to say that I was getting some fresh air. I couldn't see him though so I just went I got in a taxi and went to a pharmacy near to the hotel. I went to the counter and brought a pregnancy test the instructions weren't in English but luckily I had done a test before so I knew what to do. I went back to the hotel room and Joe still wasn't back so I rushed into the bathroom to take the test before he got home. I waited for three minutes nervous about the result...

I don't believe it, if this thing was right then I was going to be a mum! I was really happy at this thought even if I was a little bit scared. I wanted to see a doctor but I didn't want to wait until we were back in London to see the doctor so I decided to trust the test. I'm going to be a mum and I can't wait to tell Joe I just hope that he is as excited as I am.

About an hour after going out to get breakfast Joe had come back to the hotel. 'Emily? I've just come to check on you to see if you're alright' he shouted throughout the room. 'Joe! Can you come here a second please I'm in the bathroom' I shouted back before hiding the test. 'What's wrong?' he asked confused because I was smiling despite being ill. 'Well do you know how this morning I wasn't feeling very well, I ended up being sick and the more I thought about it, the more I thought about getting a pregnancy test. I went to the pharmacy and took a test. It's positive!' I shouted the last bit I was really happy. 'I don't believe it! The chances of you getting pregnant were very slim this is our little miracle' he shouted happily before picking me up and kissing me.

'I love you so much Emily and I can't wait to tell everyone our two big announcements' he said with the biggest smile on his face. I put on a dress and some makeup before putting my hair in a messy bun. Joe was wearing a white shirt and black skinny jeans, 'I'm still in shock' he laughed. We walked down to meet everyone else and we couldn't wait to tell everyone. We went to 'The Cheesecake Factory' and ate a nice meal it was only lunchtime so we were all going to head to the beach after this. 'Okay guys so me and Em have an announcement. Well actually two announcements' Joe said smiling. 'Okay so, first things first last night Joe took me out to a nice romantic meal and proposed to me-' 

'and she said yes!' Joe laughed and everyone was saying congratulations and how sweet it was. 'Next piece of news is that today Emily has found out that she is pregnant!' he said with a massive grin across his face. Zoe got out of her seat and ran to our side of the table to give me a massive hug, 'I'm so happy for the both of you!' she said tears coming in her eyes. I smiled at her and hugged her back, 'hello sister-in-law and auntie' I laughed making Zoe laugh too. 

We finished the meal and all went back to our rooms to get our bikinis and swim trunks on, Joe was wearing the salmon pink coloured ones that he's had since he went on holiday years ago and I was wearing a peach coloured bikini from Victoria's secret. We both wore our Ray-Ban sunglasses and headed to meet everyone else in the lobby. We arrived at the beach and me and Joe got on a double lounger and order some nice cooler drinks, he ordered a mint cooler and I had a strawberry cooler. Joe vlogged a little bit and it was cute to watch him in the sea swimming while vlogging. I went in the sea a little bit but I didn't mess around a lot because I definitely wanted this pregnancy to run smoothly. 

Joe, Jim, Alfie and Marcus were all playing volleyball and it was lovely to watch them play it while talking to Zoe about the big news that we had just given everyone, she was really excited too. I ended up falling asleep lying on the lounger though because I woke up in my hotel bed with Joe snuggling me from behind. He must have carried me back to the hotel and to bed this is one of the many reasons why I love Joe Sugg. I noticed that Joe had his hands on my stomach which warmed my heart slightly because it was adorable like he was trying to send a message to the baby. I might be overthinking things but I had seen Joe posting a lot recently that he couldn't wait to be a dad one day so this sort of fell at a nice time. 'I love you Joe' I whispered to him not expecting a reply. 'I love you too  Emily' he replied then we both went back to sleep. I slept in Joe's arms the whole night.
