Chapter Fifty-Two

I brought Rose to see her daddy now he was awake and she was really excited to see him again. 'Dadda' she kept on repeating over and over again while we were driving to school in the morning. Today I had planned on relaxing for a little while, maybe do some cleaning while I was waiting to pick Rose up from school. I ended up cleaning the whole house twice in two hours so I decided to take Poppy for a long walk around the park and everywhere. I put her on the lead and spent the day with just me and Poppy just like it had been for the years before Rose was even here. When we had got back home I turned on my camera to record a quick video after having a very long break from YouTube. 'Hello everyone, don't worry I will be back on YouTube as normal again pretty soon but I thought that you guys deserved an explanation as to why I haven't posted in two years. No I haven't broken up with Joe if that's what you all thought because he hadn't posted either. The thing that happened was that Joe was in a very bad car accident and he has been in a coma for the past two years. Times were extremely tough as you can imagine and his heart stopped a few times'. At this point I stopped talking and cried a little into the camera.

'Sorry everyone, this is really hard to talk about. I almost lost him I mean... I don't know what would have happened if I did lose him. Anyway he is awake now and trying his hardest to get better again and as soon as he is I'm sure he will waste no time in getting back into the YouTube community. For those of you that have stayed subscribed thank you' I turned off the camera and uploaded the video without editing it. By the time I had posted to my Twitter that I had a new video up it was time to pick Rose up from school. I had dressed her in a black skater skirt with black tights and a white shirt I put her hair up in a bun and she looked absolutely adorable. 

'Time to see daddy' I smiled to her as I put her seat-belt on she was very excited to see her favourite man in the universe. We arrived at the hospital and I held Rose's hand as we walked to Joe's room, when we stepped inside Joe's face had lit up. Wait had he been crying? He certainly looked like he had been I cast him a concerned glance which he saw before turning quickly away and looking at Rose. 'My God my little girl has grown' he laughed. 'She has my eyes and colour hair' he smiled, 'but she has the same beautiful features as her mummy'. I picked Rose up and placed her on the bed to sit by Joe. She leaned in and kissed him which I could see brought tears to his eyes.

A nurse walked in and I needed to speak to Joe alone so I asked if she could take Rose to get a drink of juice from the cafe area and the nurse agreed understandingly. 'Joe? What's wrong, you've barely spoken and you looked like you had been crying when we walked in...' I said grabbing hold of his hand. 'It just hit me that I could have never seen your face again or saw Rose grow up and it hurt me' he replied crying more. 'Joe...' I whispered before kissing him passionately.
