Best Friends (A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter Ten

EMILY'S POV

It was finally the day to pick up Poppy and I couldn't wait, I hadn't even told Joe yet. I arrived at the farm and put Poppy in her carry case before I put her in the car. I expected her to cry because she had never been in a car before but she was as good as gold. She had already had all of her vaccines so I could take her on a walk as soon as I wanted. Not to mention she was also now house trained. I was so happy. When we finally arrived home I took her out of her carry case and let her run around for a while, I put some food in her bowl because it was breakfast time then I took a picture and posted it to Instagram (see image), 'New addition to the Brown Household. Welcome Poppy Brown!' a while later Joe commented, 'Aww that's adorable can't wait to meet her :)' he immediately text me straight after:

Joe- You have a puppy OMG! :) xxx

Emily - Yep, I decided to get a little friend so I didn't feel lonely! :) xxx

Joe- I can't wait to see her in person she looks so small :O xxx

Emily- Come over ASAP :P xxx

Joe- Sorry :( I've been to loads of meetings and I haven't had time to blink. I will head over now? xxx

Emily- Alright hurry... xxx

2 hours later there was a knock at my door Poppy let out a few little barks before following me to the door, I picked her up so she wouldn't run off and opened it, Joe was stood there in his white tank top with his checkered shirt over the top and his ripped jeans he looked amazing, he had the fashion sense of a God I swear he walked in and shut the door. I put down Poppy and she started to jump up at him we quickly hugged and Joe vlogged his first time meeting Poppy, 'I'm here at the Brown residents where I have met this little sweetheart for the first time ever, hello beautiful!' he said the last bit in a cute baby talking voice it was adorable. He stopped vlogging and joined me on the sofa, he leaped on me crushing me but it felt brilliant to be near him again. I clicked play on the great British Bake off and we watched it to the end. We snuggled up and Poppy jumped on the sofa joining us. Joe kissed me quickly before he went to the bathroom. 

It was great to see him but did he have to vlog... Within 5 minutes he was walking back up the stairs, you guessed it, he was vlogging. I wanted to spend time with just Joe but I couldn't without a camera, he wasn't even listening to me anymore. I had to repeat myself 3 times to ask what he wanted for tea. I went downstairs and I don't think he even noticed, I started to read a book which I had started to write, it was how I occupied myself. I felt something jump on the bed and start to lick me in the face, I stopped writing and stroked and snuggled Poppy until we both fell asleep.

An hour later I was woken up by Poppy barking, she wanted to go on a walk. 'Joe!' he was still vlogging... 'I'm taking Poppy on a walk, I don't know when I will be back...' 

'Wait there and I will be with you-'

'Just carry on vlogging...' I said annoyed. I walked out of the house and took Poppy on an hour and a half walk to clear my head.

JOE'S POV

I realized when Emily had gone that I had vlogged the entire time and it made me feel pretty bad because I didn't even realize it. While Emily was out the door knocked I opened it to see a lad standing there, 'I-is Emily there?' He asked a little shocked.

'She's gone for a walk can I help you with anything? I'm Joe a friend of Emily's.' 

'Well, I think I left my wallet the other day when I was around' He replied so I looked around for it but I couldn't see it anywhere. I couldn't understand why he was here the other day.. Was Emily cheating on me?
