Best Friends (A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter Thirty-Nine

EMILY'S POV

Today the boys were filming another video for Daily Mix so I had to find something to do for the day. Joe woke up shortly after me and went to have a shower, when he eventually got ready he kissed me and then left to meet up with Jim, Marcus and Alfie. I was really bored because Zoe and Tanya were filming together and Niomi was filming a video for her channel. I had already uploaded a video so I didn't need to record one looks like I was going to be spending the day alone. I walked down to the beach after getting ready and listened to some music while relaxing on the loungers. I was just passing the time and ended up getting a tan which was great!

I saw couples walking hand in hand down the beach and couldn't help feeling a little sad that I hadn't spent much time with Joe. It was nearly Christmas and I wouldn't get to see him for Christmas so this was the only time that I would get to spend proper quality time with him. I went back to the hotel and Joe was still not back so I had a long relaxing bath and just lay on the bed wrapped in a towel reading through my twitter. Joe finally came back to the room and it was now dark outside, he had spent the whole day filming. He jumped on the bed and kissed my forehead, 'we are going to go out to dinner with everyone' he randomly said so I got a cute little dress on and some makeup with my hair in a messy bun. 

We met up with the rest of them and it was really fun actually, we went to a cute little restaurant and Joe held my hand under the table it was like we were back to being teenagers again. We walked out of the restaurant and decided to take a stroll on the beach which resulted in Zoe and Jim having a sand dance off and Zoe kicked sand at Jim so he chased after her. Marcus ended up pretending that he was doing an advertisement for perfume and Alfie ended up trying to climb in a massive plant pot sort of thing. We were all in stitches at the end of the night which ended with us all lying down on the sand looking up at the stars and Joe was no longer the third wheel so all of the couples were cuddling while looking up at the stars, it was perfect.

(The Next Day)

Jim, Joe and Marcus all went to a little market and got henna tattoos. Of course Joe being Joe had to get a sleeve of henna while the other two had smaller ones. They ended up riding a camel through the desert while me and Zoe filmed a beauty video for Daily Mix and one for Zoe's channel too. Today was our last day in Dubai and none of us wanted to go home. When Joe had come back to Zoe's room he told me that we were going to have a day of just me and him and I was super excited. He told me that we were going to the water park and I couldn't wait. I put a bikini on under my clothes and off we went. 

We went on the rapids first and Joe vlogged a little bit so did I. Then we went on the shark tunnel slide which was really cool to see sharks and fish swimming around you. Joe was a little scared to go on some things so I took his hand in mine and said 'Joe I'm here every step of the way, you'll be fine I promise' which reassured him and he went on a few of the scarier slides. We had such a fun day and when we were finished at the park we walked hand in hand down the beach because I loved being near the sea. We paddled a little until I saw the opportunity to push Joe into the sea which of course meant that I had to get in the sea too. He held my hand as we walked further out to the deeper part of the sea where we could both go swimming. We both vlogged a little before we got out of the sea and played a little bit of volleyball which was my second favourite sport to do, my first is badminton! 

By the time we got back to the hotel it was 9pm and I was shattered so Joe went to have a shower while I lay on the bed and ended up falling asleep! The next day we woke up bright and early so we could check out of the hotel, Joe decided to vlog the whole trip home of him looking sad which I couldn't help but laugh at. We arrived back in England after a long flight and hugged Jim and Tanya goodbye. Everyone separated at the airport except from me and Joe because Joe was coming to my house for another night before going back to Bath to see his family. 

We picked up Poppy and she was really excited to see us both which was cute and we got back home. I put all of our clothes in the wash before sitting down on the sofa. I seemed to always be tired these days. Joe put us some food in the oven and joined me on the sofa being the amazing fiancee that he is though he let me put my legs up and on his lap because I had aching feet. We ended up watching Star Wars while eating dinner which was lovely because Joe made us a Shepard's pie which tasted divine. Joe called Caspar because he had missed him and Caspar couldn't wait to see him so I asked Joe to invite him over to spend time with him so he did.

Caspar arrived at my house and him and Joe both played on the Xbox on Zombies and Fifa while I lay on the sofa watching them laughing at how bad Caspar is at Zombies. I joined in for a few games but then decided to lie across my bed for a while because I was tired. I asked Caspar if he wanted to sleep in the guest room for the night so he could spend more time with Joe and he said yes. I went to bed and put on an over-sized t shirt which could have passed off as a nightie. I put on some knee high grey socks and sat on the bed with Poppy asleep on my lap as I watched a little bit of TV before going to bed.
