Best Friends (A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter Six

EMILY'S POV

I was about to lean in and kiss Joe when he kissed me first, it was amazing it felt right. We pulled away for air and then kissed again. Finally we stopped kissing, 'wow, that was great' I blushed he grabbed me around the waist and brought me close to him again. 'I've liked you for bloody ages' he joked which made me laugh too because I've liked him for a good while too, I used to jog around my street and then run down his to see if he was awake. He watched all of my football matches and we did everything together and it just made sense now. I loved my best friend, 'so are you gonna ask me then?' I joked. He laughed nervously.

'But what if you say no?' he said shyly.

'After I just kissed you? You still think I'd say no?' I laughed, he was so sweet when he was all shy and nervous. 

'Will you Emily Mae Brown, be my girlfriend?'

'Let me think, no?' I joked,  'just joking, of course I will boyfriend!' I winked at him and he just giggled which was another cute thing he did when he got nervous. I saw him blushing so I put him in a headlock and messed up his hair. 'Do you have anything a bit more me?' I asked. He took me up to his room and got out a football shirt, a Real Madrid one. I thanked him and he went downstairs to put us some dinner in while I changed. I couldn't help but notice something sticking out of his draw I looked and saw that it was all the pictures of us together with love hearts around me. He had liked me for a long time then!

I had several missed calls off my mum but I didn't really want to talk to her right now so I just text.

Emily: Look mum I'm fine but I'm not marrying Dylan so I'm leaving home. I've ran away..

Mum: Well this isn't a funny joke and don't bother returning. You're a disgrace! You're now dead to us.

I couldn't help but cry at this comment and Joe came running up the stairs, 'whats the matter?' I couldn't talk so I passed him the phone. I finally got words out, 'Joe, I can't stay here, I'm being a burden and I don't like it. I'm gonna go some place' he told me not to but I got my phone charger and left the house. I was now homeless too, I couldn't even afford a train ticket. I grabbed my coat and walked to the local park, I remember my mum and dad taking me here when I was a little girl. I sat under the slide because it had the most shelter and then I slept in the freezing cold weather. 

(The Next Day)

I decided to look around for jobs, the first job I went for was in Sainsbury's but it wasn't ideal for me so in the end I ended up getting a job in the next town at a clothes shop. Joe had offered me money but I didn't take it. I told him that I was staying with a friend but in actual fact, I didn't have any of those apart from Joe now. I slept rough for a good couple of weeks, I asked the bank for a loan and weirdly they gave me one. I now had enough money to move to London and that's exactly what I did. I resigned from my job and got a small but modern apartment in London. I also went and brought a new wardrobe because I left all of my clothes at my house back in Bath. It felt good to have a nice warm shower, Joe and I made an agreement in high school that we would live together but he wasn't quite ready to yet which was fine. In order to keep the apartment and to pay back the loan etc. I had to have 3 jobs, I barely slept but it got me off the cold park floor I guess.

Joe was now more and more famous on YouTube and he now had 1.5 Million Subscribers. Our relationship was longish distance and he was focusing on his whole YouTube career but I really didn't mind. We were so close so it was perfect, he was coming around to the new apartment to sleep over for a few days and I was so excited! Don't worry their was two rooms so I can have people over. He was arriving at around 1pm hopefully, the apartment already had a sky box and all that with a now TV box so movie day here we come!
