It was five o'clock in the morning when my alarm began to sound. I looked around the room like always to make sure I was alone. I have always been a loner, that's just the type of girl that people pegged me to be. It's hard at sometimes, but when you have a life like mine it's hard to make time for anyone else. I hopped out of bed and went straight to the closet to get dressed, since it was my one day off this week and I had a lot to get done before my sisters wedding.

After twenty minutes of trying to pick something out, I decided on a black skater skirt and a Vans baseball tee. I curled my hair, put on minimal make up and jetting out the door. I didn't want to miss out on any daylight since I hardly saw it with my job anyways. Being someone who worked in a jail was hard sometimes being only in one uniform and around guys who only saw you as a guy. This is what my life came down to.

As I was walking down to the corner to get my usual morning paper, I started to think in all the ways that my sister Camille was so lucky. She met a guy at university and they fell in love. Plain and simple. Why couldn't I find that one guy who could sweep me off my feet at any given chance? I have only had one boyfriend and he wasn't the best guy in the bunch. To be so picky isn't really what I needed to be. I should be opened to anyone who even showed interest in me at all.

My phone began to ring as I was right by the coffee shop. It was my sister, asking me to get her more things for the big day, I am sure.

"Hey Camille, What do you need?" I tried to sound as perky as I could at 6 in the morning.
"Nothing really. I just know you're getting your morning coffee and I wanted to see if you could pick mine up? Niall and his best man are coming over to help us look at something's for next week." I shook my head at the idea of hanging around Niall's friend. I'm okay with him, I just don't like new people, that's all.
"Yeah, that's fine. I'll get the usual and see you in about thirty minutes." I hang up and get ready for the next few hours of hell that I am going to have to endure.

The coffee shop is blaring The Fray as I walk in and it sets the mood for a good morning, being that I am in for a long day ahead with the bride to be. Walking up to the counter, I was just about to give them my order when something or someone from behind tripped me and I went flying.

"Excuse me, can you watch where the hell you are going next time?" I said as I was trying to get up and not look like a complete and total disaster.
"I'm so sorry, I was so into this song that I didn't see you in front of me." the soft but demanding voice said from behind me.

The voice had me intrigued. I never turn around to see who is behind me but this time, something pulled me to do so. As I turned around and saw the man standing behind me, I was shocked to see someone like that even existed. He had ocean blue eyes, messy brown hair, and a white tshirt on. I could see writing across his collarbone and I couldn't help but want to see what else was underneath. This isn't like me at all.

"My name is Louis, and your name is?" he said as I just kept staring,  i'm sure.
"Oh, um my name is um... J..Jessica. I'm sorry about before, just really stressed." I made sure to let him know that I was sorry. When would I ever be able to talk to someone like that again?
"It's okay, I know what you mean. I'm helping my best friend get ready for his wedding and I have to sit and make plans with his wife and her sister, who god knows I'll probably hate."

Shit. I am usually good on having a feeling and this one wasn't settling well with me.
"Oh uh, is her name Camille?" I said shyly. I didn't want to know the answer to that.
"Yeah, actually it is. Do you know her? Better yet, do you know her sister?" Shit is right. Maybe I could have some fun with this..

"Oh yeah! I mean, do you think you could get along with me?" I shot back, waiting for his answer.
"Well I do think you are quite lovely. If she is anything like you, then I think we would be just fine." he smiled back at me, but you could tell there was confusing in his eyes.

"Okay. Well good luck with that." I said as I just walked away.. I wasn't worried about not saying goodbye, because I knew that I would see him again. I couldn't help but let my mind wander as I started to walk away.

As I walked into Niall and Camille's new house I was glad to see that I beat him to the place. It wouldn't have worked if he was here before I was.

"So, I think you'll really like Louis. He is such a sweetheart and maybe it's your time to find love. And just think, then we could always double date." Camille was on the right path. I jumped and started to regret the conversation at the coffee shop as the door opened.

"Niall you son of a bitch, where are you." Louis yelled in his dainty voice. I couldn't help but bust out laughing. "Wait, Camille are you in here?" He said as I could hear his voice getting closer. Camille was in the kitchen on the other side of the house. It was just me and him, so I stood up.

"No, but it is me." I said as he walked around the corner to see me. His eyes twinkled and his smile lit up the whole room.
"I had a feeling that something was up back there." he said as he walked closer to me, I could smell his cologne coming off of him. I couldn't breathe he was so close. "This is what you get for playing that little trick on me." I couldn't think about what he even meant by that by the time he crashed his lips to mine. My whole body was ignited and my world was spinning. As he pulled back, I knew that my sister would get her wish.
