2 - A Team

-Maya's POV-

"Use this." Luke says handing me his guitar.

"Okay." I accept defeat. Cause how could I say no to him?

A song. Has to be one that me and Lia know really well. Oh! I know. I'm going to play A Team by Ed Sheeran. It's such a beautiful song.

"White lips, pale face
Breathing in snowflakes
Burnt lungs, sour taste"

I keep on playing trying to get the courage to sing. But I fail. Lia has a beautiful voice anyways. Way better than mine.

I finally decide to sing the chorus with her. But I keep my face down to my guitar. We began harmonizing.

I hadn't realized it but Lia stopped singing. Giving me a solo.

I make a mistake and look up. I realize that Lia had stopped singing and everyone in the room was staring at me, making my palms sweaty. I try to continue the song. Thankfully Dahlia joins me back into the song. She does the next verse by herself.

"Ripped gloves, raincoat

Dry house, wet clothes
Loose change, bank notes

After that I sang the rest of the song alone.

I finish the song there even though there is still a lot more to the song. Everyone in the room started to clap for us. I walk up to Luke and hand him his guitar back.

The idiot Calum started yelling "wooooh!! Give it up for Daylight!" Making the boys and the others here scream even louder. Just as I smack Calum upside the head Luke motions me to walk with him into the kitchen.

"What the heck was that?" Luke asks sternly. He must've thought we sucked. Cause Lia could make it on her own. Not me.

"See I told you I suck." I say as I bite my lip.

"Okay stop it. You are amazing. It's just," he laughed "why aren't you guys popular yet?" He bites his bottom lip.

"Aren't good enough." I smile

"You know that's not true."

Just as I was about to reply I look behind me to see a blushing Calum and a blushing Lia. I just stood there and smiled. I take Luke's arm and get him to follow me up to Cal and Lia.

"So, how's life?" I ask sarcastically.

"Uh." Calum responded.

"Do you know the time young man?" I asked jokingly
