*Dahlias POV*

"Where is my phone charger?" I sigh.

"Here," Maya throws it at the bed beside me.

"Thanks, you almost done packing?"

"Pretty much, yeah."

"Good. We're getting lunch at the airport right? Or should I get something now?"

"Airport I think."

"Okay."

"I can't find my headphones!" I Michael bursts into our room.

"You left them here," I pass them to him.

"Thank you!"

"No problem. Anything of mine in your rooms?"

"Nada. I'll be back if I find something though."

"Okay."

****************

"Flight 235 to Sydney!"

"See you guys there!" Ashton grins are their gate call goes out. Again they're leaving before us. An hour and a half this time, but they have two stopovers, whereas we only have one. So they shouldn't get there more than a half hour before us.

"Maya?" Luke comes over. "See you in twenty three hours."

Maya smiles so wide I think her cheeks might break.

"We're going to be so tired!" I laugh.

"Sleep on the plane," Ashton suggests. "But guys we really gotta go!"

"Bye!" Maya and I wave as they dash to their plane.

"Now what do we do for a whole hour and thirty minutes while we wait..."

"Hmm, we could just talk. We hardly ever do that anymore."

"Sure," I smile. "Let's talk."

"Tell me what you enjoyed most of being in London."

"There was so much, honestly. I don't know. I think that first concert, halfway through the first song they played and I was just awestruck. My best friends, my family, they were living their dream. They did it. And I was so proud."

She smiles, "I don't think it's quite hit me yet. They are touring with One Direction! Our best friends are gonna be famous!"

I sigh happily. "Everything is working out alright, isn't it?"

"Things are going to be pretty good."

"Perfect almost."

"Almost," she says.

I look over at her and we sit in silence for a while.

"Do you really love him? And I don't mean love as in you'd like to date him. Love as in you can see yourself with him in a few years. Married, happy."

Her question startles me. "I, I didn't think that far into the future," I say honestly. "But I do know that my life wouldn't be... Well without him I don't know how much I'd like it here."

"That's all I wanted to know," she smiles.

"You mean the world to me, you know. You're every reason that I'm still here today," I look over at her again. "But this is getting sappy!" I chuckle.

"Really? I knew that you... I just didn't think I helped you. Not well enough at least. And hey, we are sappy people!"

I laugh. "Hey have you written any song stuff lately?"
