'I'm alone in this empty room that is my mind.'

Me and Aaliyah are preparing a photo shoot right now. I'm having my first 'okay' day in a while. Except... 'Depression medication'.
It keeps on echoing in my mind. It was only supposed to be one little appointment. But now it's every weekend. I just wish this all didn't happen. I wish that I still wasn't depressed from my parents' death. I wish I wasn't depressed that the guy I love is on the other side of the world. Sometimes I just wish this was all over.
Luke still doesn't know about the hospital. And I don't want him to know until he's back.
"So what do you want the pictures for exactly?" Aaliyah taps on my shoulder, "Maya? Are you okay?"
I slightly jump. "Oh yeah sorry... I just zoned out. The pictures are for a website and posters kinda things." I smile at her.
"Okay..." She walks around getting things ready. She's a really good photographer. "When did you want this to happen?" She has a little photo shoot spot set up in her basement.
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"Okay that should work."
I smile. "Really?"
"Yup."
"Thank you so much."

"So how have you been?" Luke smiles through FaceTime.
"I've been fine. You?"
"Great." he smiles again.
"How're the guys?"
"Pretty good. I guess? Although Ash and Mikey are fake annoyed with each other and Calum has been singing sad songs all day."
"Fake annoyed? Sad songs? What happened to you guys?"
"Daylight." He smirks.
I smile and roll my eyes, "Ever thought of running from the Daylight?"
"Can't, got a taste of it and we're obsessed."
"Are you now?"
"Oh yes."
I laugh, "So are you staying with the Daylight?"
"For now I suppose," he teases.
"What's that supposed to mean!?" I say pretending to be shocked.
"Wouldn't you like to know."
I laugh, "Yes. Yes I would."
"Too bad."
I roll my eyes. "I hate you," I lie.
"Aww," He pouts.
"It's true," I say with a smirk.
He speaks loudly, "At least Dali loves me."
"What?" Calum's voice comes from far away.
I smile, "Fine. I love you."
"Too late, I've moved on!" He announces with a grin.
"But I love you!" I fake cry.
"Fine," He drags out the word. "I guess I love you too."
"You guess? I've got to step up my game. I'm loosing here."
"That's right," Luke smirks.
"Any advice?"
"Not sure."
