"Okay, so I've got to tell you guys something before we film."
"Oh?" Hailey says as she picks up her drum sticks.
"I may have gotten us a first gig. If you guys wanna do it."
"Yes, of course we eat to do it!" Dahlia jumps up and down.
"What? How? Where?"
"So I was texting Aaron-"
"Silent Aaron?!" Hailey gasps.
I roll my eyes, "No. Loud Aaron in glee!" I say sarcastically, "Yes silent Aaron."
"Wow okay. Awesome!"
"Anyways, he has a cousin who needs a band for his party."
"Yes we'll do it!" Dahlia smiles widely.
"Great! I'll text Aaron. The guy who needs the band is Levi. He was friends with Will from glee last year. But they graduated."
"Oh I know who you're talking about! Well, don't know him but, he was popular."
"Oh by the way Hailey, we are apparently popular."
"Well obviously. We're amazing."
I laugh, "Obviously."
"We should start the video," Dahlia says still smiling.
"Right. What song do you guys want to do?"
"Why not 'I miss you' by Blink?"
"That would work. Only problem. No bass."
"Right..."
"Get Calum to teach you already!" Hailey rolls her eyes at Dahlia.
"Well we can either do it with bass or without bass. Cause I can play both."
"But guitar though."
"The song does seem more bass-y."
"Bass-y?"
"Okay band vote. All in favour of bass?"
"Sure."
"Why not."
"Alright," I grab my bass and put down my guitar. "Let me just figure out the notes. I haven't played in a while."
"Okay."
I start playing the song. I'm not very good at the bass.
"That sucked didn't it?"
They roll their eyes at me.
"What?"
"Just start the video," Hailey smirks.
"Fine," I click the start button.
"Hey, I'm Maya Hawthorne,"
"I'm Dahlia Pearce,"
"I'm Hailey Kennedy,"
"And we're Daylight."
"We'll be playing 'I Miss You' by Blink 182."
"Here it goes..."

*next Saturday morning*
The past week has been alright I guess. I've missed Luke a lot. He called a few times. Not enough though. I spent a few lunches with Aaron too. Dahlia has been unusually busy, she hasn't even had much time to talk with the guys.
We have band practice today before the gig.
Michael and the rest of they guys just finished their show, so Michael wanted to call me.
