-Maya's POV-

I jump into the car with Ashton and Calum.

"Cal?"

"Yeah?"

"What kind of puppy are you getting? Have you thought about it?"

"Uh, maybe a Shepard?"

"She loves any kind of dog in existence so you should be fine."

"Aaasshhhh!" Calum whines.

"What?"

"It's attacking me!"

"What? The bee?"

"Help! Help!"

"Just leave it alone!"

"Aaaahhhhh. I'm going to die!"

I hold back a laugh.

"Maya, this isn't funny! Do you want my death?"

"Yes it is funny, and yes I do."

"Stop it!"

"What?"

"Help me!"

"Suck it up!"

"Mayaaaa!"

"Just get in the car!"

"How much longer Calum?" Ashton asks.

"What?"

"Yeah, aren't you looking at the map while I drive?"

"Um no."

"WHAT THE HECK CALUM?!" We simultaneously yell.

"Ugh! Finally!" Ashton sighs as we reach the SPCA/pet store.

"Wasn't that bad, was it?"

"Calum, it was horrible!" I hit him as I speak.

"No!"

"Yes!" Me and Ashton say together.

"Oh really? What did I do?"

"Well, you made us go in the wrong direction to start, made us take almost every wrong turn and complained a lot."

"Yeah, yeah."

We walk into the store. There are so many puppies.

We head to the first group of puppies. "Awwwww!" I gush at all the adorableness.

Sitting down inside the group, all the puppies can and sit on my lap.

I pull out my phone and FaceTime Luke. "Look at the puppies, look at them," I show him the puppies parading around me.

"Awww, you guys are both so cute!" He smiles.

I smile back.

"Are these black labs?"

"Yeah. Calum wants to see the German Shepard though."

"Ooh."

I stand up and head to the next group of puppies.

"Luke," I say in shock.

"What?"

"It's. So. Adorable."

He laughs.

For a while I show him all the adorable puppies, until he has to go with his family.
