Jayy picked Crimson up out of the bath, and took her to her room to change into clean and dry clothes.

"Can you do it?" he asked her because she still looked so weak.

Crimson nodded slightly trying to not to make eye contact. She knew he would be disappointed in her.

"Okay... I'm going to change too... I'll be gone for just a couple minutes Crimson, okay?" Jayy said squating to the floor to look at her saddened face. "Crimson, look me, baby. Please?"

Another tear ran down her cheek, but she finally looked into his eyes. Jayy cupped her cheek in his hands, and slowly leaned toward her face giving her a gently and soft kiss. "I love you, Crimson. Please don't give up on me."

Jayy called Jinxx then took Crimson to the hospital. They wanted to make sure there were no more pills in her system. JInxx met them there, but when he arrived, Crimson was already in the middle of getting her stomach pumped. Jayy explained the situation better to his father.

"I sure am happy you got there, Son," JInxx told him.

"Dad... I... I don't think I could live with myself if she ever ..." Jayy's eyes felled with tears.

Jinxx wrapped his arms around him. Now was not the time to be manly. Now was the time to be a comforting father. He always knew the time for it, and now was one of those times. "It's okay, Son. She's gonna be okay. You saved her. She's gonna live because of you, and we aren't gonna let her try it again...."

Jayy looked at his father," How are we gonna do that ? You have to go to work, and I have to go to school."

JInxx sighed," We'll have to figure it out, but now isn't the time."

Jayy nodded, sniffed and sat up drying the tears he could not control. "Dad's right..." he thought to himself. "I need to stop worrying about what has already happened, because there's no taking that back. What I need to worry about now is the safety of her, and to make sure she knows she is loved. No matter how many people she has lost or has never had, that she still does have something to live for, and there is still and always will be hope about her living through the cancer. That she just has to fight, and I'm gonna be there with her every step of the way."
