After Jaxson's romantic picnic, he and Crimson went to the fair for a couple hours. They road a lot of rides, some more then twice, like the Tilt-A-Twirl, Merry-Go-A-Round, Fairis Wheel, the Swings, and so many others. Then Jaxson bought them a funnel cake and some deep fried oreos to shared together.

Finally, the night was over and Crimson had to get home. It was 10:00. She knew her mother would be wanting her home. Jaxson drove her the short way home, and they both agreed to make plans for the next weekend.

Crimson got in the house, with a smile that seemed almost impossible to whip off her face.... Until she saw her mother sitting on the couch with her hands covering her weeping face. The smile on Crimson's face was immediately whipped from her face.

"Momma?" she asked quietly trying to hold back tears of her own from the sight of her mother crying.

There was a long moment of silence besides the soft weeping of her mother. Then Star sniffed, whipped away the tears, and looked up at her daughter.

"Momma, what's wrong?" Crimson asked.

Star sighed trying to get herself together. She cleared her throat and began to speak," Crimson.... it's a very rare thing for hospitals to mix up files and x-rays and things..... and.... it seems.... it seems that the x-ray... that they have given us of for you.... was a ladies that was 2 doors down from us..."

Crimson's heart skipped a beat. She could not believe what she was hearing. "What does this mean, Momma?"

Tears started to flood Star's eyes again," Baby... I'm so sorry.... "she sobbed," you're far from better...." she was able to get out before she completely broke into sobs in her daughter's lap.

What was supposed to be one of the greatest days of Crimson's life.... turned out to be one of the worst.
