Chapter 2: New friends

  It was Friday and I was just done. I wanted to hide. Logan and I see each other at work but don't talk to each other. I needed him out of my head. The sound guy for the mom's view was out sick today so I stepped in.
"You can do everything around here." Carlie says. I laugh.
"Just about." I say.
"How you been?" She asked.
"I know your your family will always be there for me, it's just weird right now with Logan and I."
"I'm sorry." She side hugged me.
"Life is what it is." I say.
"It sucks sometimes." I exhaled.
"Talk to him." She left before I could say anything.

  I was in a meeting with the designers. We were sketching a new hoodie look. There was a knock on the open door. I looked up from my paper.
"I need to talk to you." Logan says.
"Ok, ugh, just keep brainstorming." I say. I set my pencil down and walked out with Logan. He pulled me to an empty area.
"What?" I folded my arms.
"Willa you can be pissed forever." He says.
"I told you I'm not pissed."
"Wen will you forgive me? It's really hard to work with you wen you won't talk to me."
"People don't just become friends after a break up, Logan, it talks time." I say.
"I know that, but we work together. I don't see you or me leaving anytime soon."
"Logan I am happy to work with you if it ends this embarrassing conversation." I looked at the mom's who were watching.
"What's so embarrassing? Their family."
"I'll work with you ok?"
"Thank you."
"Gosh." I walk away.
"Please can you just be happy. Your not glowing anymore." He says.
"I'll think about it." I say. He smiles and I walked back in the room. Caroline showed me some sketches.

  We finished a rough draft of a hoodie today. I walked out and I was mauled by Emmi. I picked her up.
"Willa!" She says.
"Hey!" I hug her.
"My Fozen cover has more views than Avia's!" She says. Avia's puts a hand on her hip.
"Emmi, don't brag."
"I think you both are great singers." I say.
"Thanks." Emmi says.
"Can you bring lady to work one day?" Avia asks.
"Maybe on a day that she doesn't have school." I say.
"What about next week?" Emmi jumps up and down.
"Possibly." I say. They cheered.
"Babytard, princesstard." Shay calls. They ran off. I walked to my car.

  I'm talking hamlet on a walk again. I hear yelling and laughter. I walked closer and closer to it. I ended up at a huge house. A dog barked.
"HAZEY! We are trying to film!" Kian yells. Hamlet barked.
"Hamlet!" I whispered.
"Who goes there!" Jc yells.
"You shall not pass!" Ricky says. I silently laughed.
"I said who goes there!" Jc yells.
"Willa!" I say over the fence.
"Aye I know a Willa!" Kian says.
"Who you talking about?" Sam says.
"Willa...Willa..." Trevor says. Kian comes to the grate.
"Aye!" He says.
"Sorry hamlet barked." I say.
"It's cool man." He says.
"What's going on dudes?" Connor walks down on his phone.
"This is my friend." Kian say. Did he really just say friend? Holy...
"Hi." I waved.
"Sup girl." Trevor said. I laughed.
"Sup." I say.
"We're just filming a video." Ricky says.
"Yup." Kian pets hamlet.
"Wait Trixin..." Ricky says. I look at my shirt.
"Oh yeah." I say.
"Your dating Logan Butler." Ricky says. I had itty bitty YouTube fame.
"Not anymore." I say.
"What happened?" Connor puts a hand over his chest.
"You don't need to know that." I say.
"Well damn." Connor says.
"You want to come back?" Sam points.
"Ugh..." I look at the time.
"I have to go get my sister." I say.
"Oh ok, you should come by again." Kian says.
"Yeah sure." I say.
"Alright, later dude." Jc waves.
"Bye." I say.
"Bye!" They yell. My gosh! Did I just have a conversation with o2l? I'm I living? Hell ya!

  I walked to Andrea's, lady's friends house. I knocked on the door. Andrea's mom, Nora, answered.
"Hey, Willa, come in." She says. I smiled and walked in.
"They're out back." She says. I walked out and lady was playing with Andrea in the sand box.
"Ready lady bug?" I ask.
"Yeah." She stood up and wiped her hand son her dress.
"How was school?" I asked.
"Good." She says.
"Thanks Nora." I say.
"Bye Andrea!" Lady waved. I lifted her in my hip. She's was getting too big.
"How was your day?" She asked.
"Good, I made some friends." I say.
"Can I meet them?"
"Maybe." I say.
"Avia and Emmi want to play sometime." I say. She got excited.
"Really!?" She asked. I laughed.
"Yeah." I say. We walked past the o2l house.
"That's where they live." I say. She waves.
"They're not outside anymore." I say.
"You have got to set up a play date." She says.
"Oh lady, you crack me up." I say. She looked so confused. Like what do you mean adults don't have play dates?
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"You make me laugh."
"But what was funny about what I said?"
"Don't worry about it."
"But I don't understand!"
"Lady, it's fine." I say.
"Whatever." She says. I laughed.
"What is so funny!?" She was laughing too.
"I love my lady bug." I say. She laughed.
"I think I get it." She says.
