Chapter 13: The Ruby's

I woke up starting into sam's eyes. He opened his. He brushed his thumb over my chin.
"Good morning." He said.
"Good morning." He pulled my leg over his.
"But seriously, why did you come over last night."
"I wanted to see you." I said. He smiled.
"When your grandma was in the hospital and wanted to talk to us she sat and down and told me something." He said.
"Like what?"
"That she knew that Logan wasn't the one for you and she had spend quite a bit of time looking for a man for you."
"And?"
"She found 3 but she can't decide between them."
"Oh."
"And I'm one." I sat in top of him.
"You think that you could be the one."
"I do, but also your grandma, so I'm kinda a big deal."
"Well it's not Connor and it's not Trevor."
"Not Logan." He says.
"So you."
"Or Ricky or Kian."
"It's not Ricky, can be Ricky."
"Why not Ricky?"
"He's too tall."
"Love doesn't have height."
"Why are you defending him!?" I said bye laughed.
"I'm going to talk to them."
"Wearing that?"
"I'll change." I giggled.
"Ok." He kissed me.
"You tell me who it is." He says.
"Yeah, probably none of you." I say.
"Hey!" I put my clothes on and walked to Kian's room.
"Hey." I said.
"Your here early." He said.
"Just needed to ask you something."
"Um yeah sure." He sat up.
"Someone told me about the whole I found 3 guys for willa on my grandmas deathbed."
"What's that?"
"So it's not you?" I ask.
"I didn't say that."
"Either your one or your not."
"I am." He said.
"One more." I say.
"You found another?"
"Yeah".
"Who?"
"I'm not telling!"
"Fine." He laid back down.
"I'll talk to you later."
"Come here." He held his arms out. Sam passed the door.
"I need to talk to Ricky." I said. He nodded. I walked to his room. He was up and getting ready.
"So umm my grandma said some stuff in her deathbed with you." I said.
"Good morning to you too."
"I want to know if she said anything significant."
"It was for me personally Willa."
"Ok." I said. So not Ricky not Trevor and not Jc. Could grandma really think could date Connor? Or maybe it's not a o3l member.
Connors gay, there's no way she thought that.

  I walk in to work, actually looking decent today.
"You look good." Caroline says. She gets closer to me.
"Someone get laid?" I hit her arm.
"Shut up."
"Who was it?"
"None of your business."
"It wasn't...Logan? Right."
"No it wasn't Logan."
"Good."
"What wasn't me?" Logan walks over with another bouquet of flowers.
"That I had dinner with last night." I sounded just as bad.
"No we didn't." He says. I nod. I take the flowers and he leaves.
"Howcome if he breaks up with you it's not cool and you don't talk but when you break up with him it's cool?"
"We kinda broke up with each other." I say.
"What?" She said all confused.
"Want me to tell the world about you and Jc?" I wink.
"I will personally kill you."
"How long has he been staying at our place?" She picks at her nails.
"Couple months." She mumbled.
"Caroline-"
"You can have Sam or kian or Ricky over anytime!" She says.
"About them..." I say.
"What?"
"Sam told me about about what my grandma told 3 guys in her death bed. About how one of the three is the one for me." I say.
"So it was Sam!?"
"Damn it Caroline!" She laughed.
"Looks like you need to figure out who it is."
"Sam is one and kian is one, but I can't find the other."
"Maybe there not from o2l."
"I don't know."
"Maybe she did t tell you for a reason Willa. I mean this in the nicest way, stay out of it. I'm sure we can handle it.
"Let's just get into it." Kevin says. We sit.
"Let me just get my point across: lady is my sister. I don't want he to live millions of miles away. She's all I got in LA."
"Honey I see where your coming from, but you can't afford to have her, you are just barely become an adult." Sandy explained.
"Can we work something out?"
"I don't see an other option." Kevin says.
"I'll set up a meeting with the lawyer." I say. They nods. None of that was easy. The house it being put in the market. Her car is being repossessed because we aren't paying for it.
"What's this?" Sandy hands me a piece of paper. I take it.
"I don't know." I say.
"What does it say?" Kevin takes the paper.
"She has land?" Kevin asks.
"I guess."
"Where?" Sandy asks.
"Nevada."
"Can you contact someone and ask it's worth?"
"Yeah." He says.
"I did have a jeweler look at her her jewelry. He said she has a ring with a price tag of about $27,000."
"Are you kidding me?!" Sandy asked.
"No."
"That's crazy."
"That's my car." I say.
"What about her crystal collection?"
"Keeping it. She wanted t slit between up but I would like it if you had it."
"Piano?" Sandy asked. She had a very nice and old piano.
"Your call."
"Are you planning on moving?"
"Yeah."
"You have it. We can pay for a storage container until then."
"Thanks."
"Mm huh."

I opened the door with Jc and Caroline behind me.
"How did it go with Kevin and Sandy?" Caroline asked.
"She has a ring."
"So." Jc says.
"It's estimated worth is $27,000."
"Oh shit." He says.
"That's crazy!"
"Right!?"
"I'm going to bed." Caroline said.
"K goodnight." Her left.
"So you and Sam eh?"
"How would you even know that?"
"Connor told me."
"And how does Connor know that?"
"I don't know. He said your pissed at him."
"Yeah."
"Why?" I didn't know if he had told anyone. else.
"Reasons."
"Ok well I'll see you later dude."
"Goodnight." He walked in Caroline's room. I heard laughing. Then let went too far so I went in my room. I watched Netflix for like 4 hours. There was a knock outside. I walked out and opened the door.
"I just wanted to see you." He said. I smiled.
"Come in." I opened the door wider. We walked into my room and sat on the bed.
"What's up?"
"You know I'm one." He says.
"They need a name." I say. He laughs.
"The ruby's." I say. I laughed.
"Really?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"So your a ruby?" I ask. He nodded. We just sat there in silence. He leaned in to kiss me.
"Kian." I said.
"Willa please." I stood up.
"Willa." He brushed my hair. We kissed. Sam is going to kill me.
"Kian we shouldn't." I finally said.
"Your right I'm sorry. I have no right to take advantage of you like that."
"Wait." He got up to leave. I put a hand on his chest and our foreheads touched.
"Maybe just one night." I said.
