Chapter 3: Just One night out

I just moved back in with grandma because I can't afford to pay rent by myself. But I love grandma. I'm sitting at the table eating her oatmeal.
"Oh Honney, these boys came over yesterday with some numbers." She said.
"What?" I ask.
"Here." She hands me a piece of paper with the guys numbers on it.
"Oh and I gave them yours." She says.
"Grandma!"
"Go socialize." She says.
"Grandma that's weird, don't hand out my number." I say. She laughs.
"They were hot." She says. I almost fell out of my chair.
"Mm mhm..." I say. Lady came downstairs.
"I'm ready." She says.
"Alright let's go." I say.
"Have a good day." Grandma says.
"Bye grandma." Lady says. She hugs her before taking my hand and following me to the car. He get in and I drop her off at school before work.

"Meeting in 10." Cecily cans me some papers.
"For designers?" I ask.
"Everyone." She says.
"Oh ok, thanks." I say. That was very uncommon for Shay to have a meeting with everyone. I got a donut. Colette came in the break room.
"Hey, Willa." She says.
"Hey." I say. She was just about to pop.
"How are you?" She asks.
"I'm great, and you?"
"I'm ready for this boy to come out." She says.
"You look ready." I say. She laughs. He laugh is so adorable.
"I got to go, I'll see you at the meeting." She pats my shoulder.
"Alright." I say. She walks into the bathroom. I finished my donut and made my way to the meeting. We weren't in a room because it was everyone. Shay started speaking about a new office. And then:
"We have some bitter sweet news." He says. That grabbed my attention.
"Casey, Colette, kaylie, Carlie, and I are moving to Idaho." He says.
"We want to be closer together." Casey says.
"Everyone will keep their jobs, just we will go back and forth from LA to Idaho." Whaaaaat? The meeting ended and I walked over to Shay.
"Hey congratulations." I say.
"Hey, thanks, it's means so much that everyone is on bored."
"Let me know if you need anything." I say.
"Thanks, Willa." He hugs me.
"I have something for you." He says.
"Shay..." I say.
"No come on." I back with him to an empty office.
"This is yours." He says.
"Mine?"
"Yes."
"Shay, I'm fine."
"No Willa, your head of the designers, you need an office."
"Thank you so much." I hug him.
"Your part of this family blood or not."
"Thank you."

After work I make my way home. I'm driving along and Jc is walking wishbone in the middle of the street. He waves.
"Sup dude?" I roll down the window.
"They make sidewalks for a reason." I say. He laughs.
"I prefer- wishbone prefers an open road."
"Ugh huh." I say.
"Hey, swing by tonight." He says.
"Why?"
"Great see you at 7." He kept on moving. I drove home. My phone beeps.
Unknown number: hey it's Sam, sorry if Jc was creepy.
Me: just a little bit
Then he called.
"Hello?"
"Hey." Sam says.
"Hey." I walk to my room and lay down on the bed.
"So ugh, we're going out tonight."
"That's sounds fun."
"Yeah you should come with me."
"It's a school night."
"You don't go to school." He laughs.
"But I have work."
"Come on!"
"Sam-"
"Please please please, Willa?!!"
"I have-"
"Please please please please please!"
"Fine!"
"Yay! See you at 7!" He hung up. Oh what have I done? Lady runs in my room.
"Willa, Willa, there a guy here." She says. I sigh.
"I'm coming." I stand up and walk into the kitchen where Kian is having a cup of tea with grandma.
"I told you they were hot." Grandma points to him. Kian starts laughing.
"Grandma." I say.
"What?" She sips her tea.
"Can I talk to you?" He asks.
"Ugh ok." I say. Lady starts humming the k I s s I n g song. I walk with in on the front.
"Hey ugh the guys and I are going out tonight, you want to come with me?" He asks.
"I already said I would." I say. He looked confused.
"Ok, see you at 7." I nod and he makes him way home.
"Willa can you run to the store and get me some more milk and eggs?" Grandma asks.
"Yeah of course." I say.
"Can I come?" Lady asks.
"Sure."

I put lady in the cart and we zoom around the different Isles. I turn the cart down the cereal isle and see Connor. I turn away before he sees me. This was just getting weird. Connor sees me and walks over.
"Hey." He says.
"Yes I'll go." I say.
"Oh really? Thanks." He says. He looks at lady.
"You have a daughter?" He asks. I laughed.
"No silly." Lady says.
"This is lady, my sister." I say.
"Good cause I was gonna say...you would have been 15 to have her." He says.
"No she's my sister." I say.
"Hi." Lady says. Connor smiles.
"Hi, I'm Connor." She hold out her hand to shake it.
"Nice to meet you. Grandma says you are all hot." She says.
"Lady." I say.
"What?" She shrugs.
"She's smarter than most kids her age." I say. He laughs.
"I'm the hottest one." He says. Lady giggles.
"I got to go, I'll see you tonight." Connor says. He walks off dancing. I laugh bee check out. I bought more than she asked but whatever. We unload the cart.
"Hey." Ricky stood next to me."
"Oh my gosh! You scared me." I say. I sit his arm.
"Ouch." He says.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"Your ugly- just kidding." He says. I look at him.
"It's a vine, you know the garbanzo bean?" He asks
"I promise it's a vine!" He says.
"Anyway, you want to go to a party tonight with me?" He asks.
"Ricky!!!!!!" Trevor screams from the car. He hold up a finger.
"I already said yes!" I say.
"Great, see you then." He walks over to the car.
"Hey Willa." Trevor says as he pulls up. I don't turn around.
"Hi Trevor." I say. I drive off.

  I'm upstairs trying to pick out what to wear. I go with a back romper. I look in the mirror.
"Logan doesn't never know what he's missing out on." I grab my phone and walk downstairs.
"Grandma I'll be back around 1." I say. I kiss her cheek.
"Ok have fun." She says.
"Bye, love you." I walk out the door and get into my car. I drove to their house. I shut the door and walk in.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Upstairs!" Ricky calls. I walk up the steps. I've never been in the house before, it's really dirty. Everyone was getting ready. I sat on the couch. Everyone came out in Unison.
"Alright, let's go." Kian says taking my hand. I pull it away.
"What the crud?" I ask.
"You said you would go to out with me to the party." He says.
"No she said she would go with me." Jc says.
"I'm sorry." Trevor says. He slouches on the couch.
"No I asked her already!" Ricky says.
"She told me yes a couple hours ago." Connor says.
"I called her." Sam says.
"You called her, I had tea with her grandmother!" Kian yells.
"I met her sister." Connor says.
"Was she cute?" Ricky asks.
"She's 5." Connor says. In so confused.
"What's the problem?" I ask.
"You said you would go out with all of us." Jc explains.
"Maybe I want to go with Trevor." I say.
"He's 16!" Sam protests.
"And?" I ask. Trevor stands up.
"Let go darling." He says. I links arms with him and we walk to Trevor's car.
"This is brand new, slick clean, don't spill a drop of anything." Trevor says as he licks his thumb and wipes the car logo on the steering wheel. I sit in the passenger seat.

We arrive and walk in. I don't know how but Trevor got in. We sit at a table. It was really loud. Jc brings over some shots.
"Here you go." He passes them out to us." Trevor sits back because he knows he ain't getting any. I drink it.
"Ow." I say. Sam stands up.
"Come on." He says. I stand up. I takes one of my hands and takes me to the dance floor. The guys follow. Ordinary comes on.
"Got the Kia Soul with my cheap shades on!!!" We sing. Ricky twirls me. I laugh.
"You know this is crazy!" I say.
"Here." Kian hands me a Martini. I dance.
"Thanks." I sip it.
"You do this a lot?" I ask.
"Not too often." Connor says.
"You want to go out Friday night?" Connor whispers in my ear.
"That sounds fun." I say.
"I'll txt you."'he says.

We were all really drunk except Trevor. We walk into their house. Sam sit down. I lay down on the couch with my feet in his lap.
"Tomorrow's gonna suck." I say. Kian laughs.
"Yeah." He says.
"It was so fun." I say.
"You guys gonna take her home?" Trevor asks.
"Naw." Sam says. He throws my shoes. I laugh.
"Goodnight." I snuggle up with a pillow.
